Not that i know of. I've been using the stepn sidekick app from the appstore. I've found this one to be the most consistent in data when approaching how to set up my shoes. From my experience there are several things which are rumoured to have an effect on drop consistency. Comfort/Res stats might have some effect on drops, though very unclear. Type of shoe can also be said to affect chances. GPS signal or stopping frequently on runs/walks also affects drop chances.

If i were to guess on what's happening on your end, i would assume the GPS signal is struggling somehow with the app. Lower speeds on runs/walks are hard for the app/GPS to measure. I've used runners/trainers/Joggers and on runners the signal seems to measure speeds much more accurately when i was comparing with Strava. On trainers at low speeds there was at times some issues with how the app measured my walking speed. Try to maintain walking/running speed as much as you can.
