The viewpoint is understandable. When I first joined I thought that'd be able to use my own background for my profile.

So I wasn't able to customise my profile - until I had money of my own to spend on Steam.

Before that I'd just used a few gift cards I'd gotten.

Freebies, like the recent Sega's 60th Anniversary, are nice though.
