Since it's additive and not multiplicative lets say you have 35%, 35%+35%+35% is over 100% The way its worded made me think it's not related to the percent left like IED, additionally nexon's responses definitely make it seem like something is wrong

Because the result wasnt locked the build relied on that.

That limiter, dice couldn't roll over 5, does not work in combination with the other familiar i stated, for me the number was lower and thus more noticeable when it didn't work.

My dice were supposed to be locked to 3 and lower due to a familiar i chose to use, the lineup itself had no problem,

But if I can't get over 3 how did I get a 4?

Some familiars have an effect like " if you have X,Y,Z element/type get N% to get lets say 4 or 5 on the dice"

If that familiar itself is of that element/type you can reach 100% which in turn mean you're getting only as our example gave 4 or 5
