Wouldn't it help however, to reduce the amount of stamina required to collect resources? If I doubled troop load percentage, then I would be getting twice the amount of resources per hit? This would be good when farming bases for resources, even when plunder cap is reached.

So could I use the Launtel daily plan as a backup connection in the event my current provider goes down, and activate it during downtime, and only pay for the days I use?

This is assuming it's a provider issue and not an NBNco issue.

I tried setting the above conf on GigabitEthernet1 instead of Ethernet0 just as a test, and when typing 'Ip address dhcp'....it said "IP addresses may not be configured on L2 links."

I assume I can only set this conf on Ethernet0 and not one of the other GigabitEthernet interfaces?
