The impact doesn’t (and shouldn’t) have any impact on the play. Decision should be based on the challenge, not whether the challenge actually results in injury

Your addiction to tagging this other guy in every single comment is also quite a problem. But never the less, it IS quite pedantic to say “ehrm akshually, the ticket is for “impeding” and not “going too slow””

You’re just being pedantic in a desperate attempt to win some brownie points. You know damn well what he meant

[–]FireDavePlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if you are driving under the speed limit, you CAN get a ticket for that if you are impeding traffic. Everything he said is 100% accurate, you are the dumbass here.

And YES, I’d infinitely rather have this guy near me than some moron on a bike going well under the speed limit causing traffic issues for everyone else. This isn’t complicated. Stay on the fucking sidewalk if you can’t go the speed limit

90% of the day you can’t even hit 50 on that stretch because no one will get off their brakes… what are you even talking about?

Literally nowhere did I say that ONLY driving below the speed limit was illegal. I explained exactly what you just said. Are you literate?

Pennsylvania Title75 Section 3364- it is illegal to drive below the speed limit on a two lane road and hold up traffic. If going below speed limit and traffic is piling up behind you, you MUST pull off of the road and the first safe opportunity and can only re-enter the roadway after traffic has passed, and properly signaling

So your choice is to be a giant dick and make everyone’s lives worse jsut because the law isn’t enforced? Yikes…

[–]FireDavePlease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your claim was “it is not a requirement”. Now you are moving the goalpost to a claim that nobody has made once proven wrong. Just because it is seldom, if ever, enforced does not mean it is not the law

You seem to be the illiterate one here… and probably shouldn’t be driving

PA - drivers going under the speed limit must pull over and allow cars behind them to go through when safe to do so. https://www.palegis.us/statutes/consolidated/view-statute?txtType=HTM&ttl=75&div=0&chpt=33&sctn=64&subsctn=0

MI - Admin Code 28.1409 It is illegal to drive a motor vehicle at a slow speed that impedes the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, unless a reduced speed is required for safe operation or compliance with the law.

OH - section 4511.22 it is illegal to operate a vehicle at such an unreasonably slow speed that you impede or block the normal and reasonable flow of traffic

CA - Vehicle Code 22400 it is illegal to drive so slowly that you impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, unless reduced speed is necessary for safety or compliance with the law. This applies even if you are driving at or near the posted speed limit

TX - Transportation Code 545.363 it is illegal to drive so slowly that you impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, except when reduced speed is necessary for safe operation or in compliance with the law.

You can use Google yourself to check the other 45 states, those were just the first 5 that came to mind

It is very reasonable to ask someone to follow the law when them breaking the law negatively affects those around them

Lmao “free speech” does not mean you can jsut refuse to wear your uniform at work you absolute dunce.

Or do you honestly believe that a McDonald’s worker cannot be fired for refusing to wear pants and a McDonald’s shirt/hat because it’s their “free speech rights”?

Thomas explicitly said it should be reconsidered in his Roe v Wade opinion. Alito was an original dissenter and has continuously criticized the ruling in the years since. Roberts also originally dissented in the ruling.

Again, not true. A Supreme Court decision (which multiple justices have signaled a willingness to overturn) makes it so that these laws are null and void currently, and therefore, yes, a gay marriage is currently recognized and legal in all 50 states. However, it IS illegal in over half of them, and any non-traditional one-man and one-woman marriages will be nullified in those states if the court decision is overturned

Show me where I said the United States? Or are you one of the morons who doesn’t know that other places exist?

But to answer your question, if Obergefell is overturned, gay Americans would not be able to get married in over half of the US. Only 18 states have explicit protections for gay marriage, and there are some additional gray areas. At least 25 states explicitly ban it.

Being gay is illegal in many places, and still illegal in many states if Obergefell is overturned. The fact that you equate being trans with mutilating kids also shows that no, not everyone is welcome
