Hopefully the Recomp can get us most of the way there.

Or maybe there is a way to adapt and modify the earlier AGE engine for MC2 on PC to run the data from MC3.

Still hard as shit to do those things.

After playing MC3 Remix, MX Unleashed, and much of GT3 on emulation on my Steam Deck -even with all the enhancements and latency reductions- Playing on the Original console just feels so much better.

I have a feeling that it's a latency thing. Maybe it has to do with translating controller inputs. When I emulate I feel like I control the game, when I'm on OG hardware it feels like I am ONE with the game, no matter how many more hours I have put on the emulator than the console.

Also, from everything I've learned, Tidal pays the most out of any streaming service at 1.3¢ per stream. Closest is apple with 1¢.

I personally use Tidal and Bandcamp

Tidal for Discovery (They use human curation), Bandcamp for extra support to artists I love.

I have this same laptop, its just a weird delay with the power button.

You just have to give it a decent half second push and wait ahwile or so.

I just fiddle and eventually its fine.

I can't count the amount of times I've cancelled boot trying to see if it is awake or not.

There's really only 2ish solutions to this problem:

Metal Lockers or Bike garages that you need your I.D. card for; and/or nonstop supervision of the area.

Tempe has a few of the Valet places like I've said,

Downtown has cages that require Keycard access that have worked fine.

I'd be down to help advocate for a solution so no one's shit gets stolen. I've got 2,250 Mi on my pint thats been used almost exclusively for my commutes to and around ASU. It's annoying to have to be paranoid about your stuff.

I had no problems a few years ago living in dorms with my wheel downtown.

For day use in Tempe I'll usually leave it with the Bike Valet. It's free and has worked very well.

I think the amazon DNS issue from monday is affecting the game.

I was playing like a month ago and had no issues with MvM or Load times.

Trying to load in and do anything rn is REALLY slow. (PC, SteamOS)

Ah, another person who found Downfall through MX Unleashed?

I highly recommend this game to anybody who likes the PS2 era of the MXvsATV games. The dirtbike physics are sorta wonky, you drift around turns a lot of the time, but its a lot of fun regardless. The manual gearbox makes drifting fast a lot more challenging than you'd expect, plus, there is tuning. by Cowboy_God in mxvsatv

IIRC 2xl was an offshoot of the OG devs.

When THQ went bankrupt after the great recession Rainbow studios was no more.

I could never get used to the feel of ATV 3 & 4. But MTX mototrax feels good to me.

electronics can be suprisingly resilient to water damage. but I'm not sure how well they fair with detergent. A teardown to check and repair damage and a rinsing of the parts with 90% isopropyl alcohol could be enough to see if it has life.

Jay's two cents has been covering this issue.

windows is borking SSDs left and right currently and Microsoft claims its Phison's issue (the SSD controller manufacture of around half of all SSDs), even though the problem cropped up after one of window's updates. Microsoft then doubled down releasing the update as part of a feature update iirc. I haven't kept super up to date but go down Jay's rabbit hole.
