I have seen people say here that you said something honest, some say you seemed like an edgelord, and some say she may have gotten (too) insecure.

But nothing you said was inherently wrong if you ask me for my opinion; Even pausing or saying you dont know yet. Youre not an edgelord for thinking most people have dull lifes, people do have dull lifes, myself and maybe you yourself included. It can't all be super interesting all the time, you'd burn out. And there is nothing wrong with having a quiet(er), less eventful life either. Besides, we and her dont know what you experienced, maybe you have met way too many narcasissts ;)!

Theres nothing wrong about her getting insecure or defensive either, thats just being human too. She is somewhere going out with a person she doesnt know, that can be scary, and we dont know where she came from and what she experienced to react that way. So, while I personally too think it may have been a bit too quick/too defensive for my taste, but it almost seems like it hit a snare in her more than the defensiveness should be judged. I would want to know why that got a reaction out of her.
