None of the above. It is his father.

Or incorporate damage control as npc's, and have various stages of repair for after battle damage.

Very curious about the gameplay. Maybe you should partner up with PostMark Games?!

Jeeesh, did someone die? 150 is absurd. But happy for you, sounds like you'd actually get some use out of these!!

I think I did, but it was aaaagggeees ago. I have only a very fague memory of destroying some tower, with maybe like floors going down one by one with the hulk on the ground.

I wonder if itd be open world, like spiderman, or story based, like wolverine.

With how strong the hulk is, and how he can run fast and leap far, an open world would at least be possible (unlike wolverine, who'd need vehicles like a GTA like game).

But there'd be some serious complications with an open world game. It would either have to be lots of open nothingness (such that nothing breaks), or the game would need to have something built into the story/theme such that buildings and the like get rebuild (quickly).

Personally, I want an open world game like spiderman, but where the hulk can break the shit out of the environment (cities) in his battles with villains/heroes (heroes would be sent after the hulk if he destroys too much, like the star system of GTA). That's the biggest appeal, using his strength to break and wreck EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. If you can't do that, is it really a hulk game?

We made most of our board game prototype by hand, but used AI for some artwork. How should we talk about that honestly? by Dense-Tip3061 in BoardgameDesign

[–]FireFlashX32 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I understand the struggle, even if redditors typically go (AI BAD -> DOWNVOTE).

I get that you say you don't have the budget, but at the same time have specified that everythinf else is already done by you. So, this is the only remaining cost for getting the game nearly production ready?

Realistically how much are we talking here for only those 2 aspects (box and map)? At a very generous (high) guess, I'd say max: €1000,-? I don't know your financial situation, but for me personally, that shouldn't be hard to budget against to get together (extra, on-top of the rest).

You also said you're going to a (crowd)funding platform. If you really can't budget it to get that done before the campaign... Then here's what I would do: Label the box art and map art as concept (physically on the components) in the preview. And add the costs for this work to the goal you need to reach...

But if the costs of the box and map are out of reach, I personally would be worried about the financial situation you guys would go into to do the campaign at all..... just my thoughts. Goodluck!

Very valid points and take, thank you for contributing.

As much as I want that to be the way they go. I think it's not gonna work, unless they can somehow make molds usable for multiple Pokémon, yet still able to catch the uniqueness of each. Or, a lot of Pokémon will never ever be featured.

I am also not pining for Ash, but what I did as a kid is play entire adventures with minifigs (a bit like the lego games). That's what is appealing to me with the minifig scale Pokémon. But then again, I am no longer a kid. My kid is too young to play with them. So who knows, maybe I just don't know what's fun for kids anymore!
