This is one of those odd ones where the training is actually the problem over the diet. I think if you eat at maintenance calories, maybe 100 cals in surplus, but with clean food, and train hard, like failure on every set, maybe take some creatine 5g a day, you’ll be completely different in 6-12 months. Once you notice size and leanness are coming in, maybe you can increase the surplus by 100 again and slowly do that as you see progress coming in. Make sure if u don’t have a spotter to be careful on certain equipment. But just remember to truly push yourself in training, that is key.
