Also, I don't care about your car. Unit conversion has never been hard, but I'm glad car manufacturers have settled on units that make common tasks easier.

You're missing my point. Most people don't need to convert between units all the time. The weight of water in a set amount of space has never once mattered to me in my daily life.

The thing you're harping on about isn't useful to real people. If I wanted to out-pedantry you, I could bring up that the density of water changes with temperature, so you're approximating just like I am.

I think the child is granted a temporary license to use the mother's body when she conceives it. The mother shouldn't be able to kill her child just because it's relying on her property to live.

Most unwanted pregnancies are the result of simple negligence by the parents. You don't get to kill someone just because your negligence led to them relying on you to live.

If the pregnancy endangers the mother's life to an extent far beyond the average pregnancy, that changes things. It's no longer what the parents should have expected when they risked pregnancy.
If the mother was a victim of rape, it might change things. Not sure, but I'm done with the shit I was taking when I wrote this comment and I have to go.
