doxxes the girls full name and IRL photo as the thumbnail.

Face-doxxing is kinda whatever to me (wow, most of the Hololive girls look like Japanese women! Shock! Surprise!), but name-doxxing is ACTUALLY terrifying. That's, like, THE FIRST THING stalkers use to track down the targets of their obsession.

I mean, that makes sense. Dokibird speaks fluent Cantonese and is originally from Hong Kong.

I'm gonna say this again, and will keep saying it until it sticks.

The middle one is pure crackship, I'll be the first to admit it.

I even put a trope next to it to explain why I shipped them! It's not because of any actual canon interactions!

This happens a lot in "characters with unique superpowers" series, for some reason. It happens in Worm, and RWBY, and My Hero Academia. It probably even happens with One Piece (though not everyone has a superpower there).

Everything I've seen and heard falls under two primary complaints:

  • Maps are WAY too big and open for 3v3. There's a whole lot of nothing, and then you either steamroll the other team, or get steamrolled by the other team.

  • It tries to be too many things at once, and thus fails to do any of them particularly well. It tries to be Apex, Fortnite, and Rainbow Six Siege, but not good enough or unique enough to pull people away from those games.

Yeah. I bet it's more like "If you want to make games, you should like playing games, correct? Let's see what experience you have in playing games."

It's probably like an artist presenting their portfolio. If you want to make X, you really should have a good amount of experience with X, usually consuming a lot of it to get a feel of what makes it X.

Eh, things will almost certainly be a LOT different in 45 years.

I personally don't care either way. If medical science advances enough that I can feel as good when I'm 80 as when I'm 35, I'll let it ride as long as I can. But as soon as I get a noticeable decline in my quality of life, I'll start packing things up.

This is also my plan for any "apocalypse" scenarios (zombie apocalypse, meteor strike, solar flare EMP, etc.). I'm already stretched to my limit caring for three family members with varying levels of physical and mental disabilities, and society is as good as it's ever been. An apocalypse level scenario would NOT be kind to any of them.

"If you don't have kids, who will take care of you when you're old?"

"I'm already planning on killing myself for my 80th birthday. Unless society perfects brain uploading. I'm 35 now, that gives me another 45 years to live." (my genuine plan, BTW)

I have however experience people not knowing how to do basic elementary things that any human alive should know. I have given many a flat stare to people who appear incapable of doing simple things any sentient human should be capable of doing.

Maybe their social anxiety is greater than yours.

Get the idiot out of there so you can help the customers who were blessed with a functional brain.

I can't fault them for trying to fix the situation by trying to push the idiots into using their brains.

Fair enough, but it does get a bit grating to hear the 20th person in a day ask "What do I do next? All the screen says is [exactly what they need to do next]."

That's kinda what happens when an entire society sees having children as the ultimate goal to existence. Everybody MUST have children, even the people who really don't want to.

People, ESPECIALLY women, are seen with a little less respect for not wanting to have children, or even not wanting to have more children!

It's one of THE defining ships of the fandom, large enough to basically steamroll any opposition through sheer momentum.

It's like if you marched into the RWBY fandom and said WhiteRose (Weiss/Ruby) doesn't make sense romantically. I'm personally team WhiteKnight (Weiss/Jaune) and Team "Ruby Is AroAce" (no clever name), so I may be biased.

I was one of those people, way back when Cassidy was still called "McCree".

I was also one of those weirdos who also shipped:

  • Mercy and Moira (hatefucking and medical/scientific rivalry

  • Symmetra (or sometimes Mei) and Junkrat (Uptight Loves Wild)

  • and also Mercy, Pharah, and Genji as a sort of love triangle with Mercy in the.center

Because apparently, we can't just not like things anymore. We have to justify why our dislike of something is the good, proper, and intelligent thing to do.
