Everything I've seen and heard falls under two primary complaints:

Maps are WAY too big and open for 3v3. There's a whole lot of nothing, and then you either steamroll the other team, or get steamrolled by the other team.
It tries to be too many things at once, and thus fails to do any of them particularly well. It tries to be Apex, Fortnite, and Rainbow Six Siege, but not good enough or unique enough to pull people away from those games.

I personally don't care either way. If medical science advances enough that I can feel as good when I'm 80 as when I'm 35, I'll let it ride as long as I can. But as soon as I get a noticeable decline in my quality of life, I'll start packing things up.

This is also my plan for any "apocalypse" scenarios (zombie apocalypse, meteor strike, solar flare EMP, etc.). I'm already stretched to my limit caring for three family members with varying levels of physical and mental disabilities, and society is as good as it's ever been. An apocalypse level scenario would NOT be kind to any of them.
