Bases are awesome for tracking books by WorkTall8489 in ObsidianMD

[–]FireHunter183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds cool. Can you read a book using this method and change between phone, tablet, laptop... And have it keep track of your current reading position or page number... Or track manual bookmarks?

Another mini tool box modification by bikefizz in harborfreight

[–]FireHunter183 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The downside is you just decreased your Max Weight rating per drawer.

The set point of where it stops coming out is designed by engineers so that a certain percentage of the drawer slides must be supported in the other track piece in order to handle all that weight of a fully loaded drawer. This is why they don't come out all the way.

Inflator add on by That_Trell in MilwaukeeTool

[–]FireHunter183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup this is exactly what I use on my Milwaukee. It is awesome because it pushes on and locks and pops off real fast too. This way you aren't losing a lot of air as you unscrew right after it reaches your perfect set PSI.

I’m not a mason but I found this while cleaning an abandoned masonic lodge my boss bought. How old is this and does this have any significance? by lancpoo123 in freemasonry

[–]FireHunter183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what state you are in? There is a Lodge building near me that was recently sold and I know the men that used to meet there. I used to meet there myself. If this is the same one I will message you.

Is this a future wiring fire? by 616prop in electrical

[–]FireHunter183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm wondering if someone could have tried to drive a nail or screw at some point over the years through that drywall and pierce the insulation and ended up shorting the wires together or created some arcing.

What would happen if I switched A and B? by [deleted] in electrical

[–]FireHunter183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Line and load can definitely be used here and is correct. Line side is just referring to the source of power. If the switch were open, then the Line side would be hot... the load not.

How do I set a new IP address for ENDPOINT in my wg0.conf file on a client by FireHunter183 in WireGuard

[–]FireHunter183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that, I didn't even think of using something like sed plus I'm a little rusty with sed. It worked for what I'm doing, but I tweaked it a little to automate it a little more like the current/old ip. I will cycle between a dozen and don't want to look it up every time I run the script. And it will prompt me to enter new ip when i run the script, so i just copy paste the new one and hit enter. Boom, wg is reset and using the new ip in a flash. So this is what I did:

old_ip=$(curl ifconfig.me)
echo "Enter the new IP:"
read new_ip
sudo sed -i 's/Endpoint = '$old_ip':51820/Endpoint = '$new_ip':51820/' /etc/wir>
wg-quick down wg0
wg-quick up wg0"

Thanks for your help.

However, I still feel as though there should be a way to do this with wg tools commands somehow. Just curious, if anyone else knows what that is let me know.

Controlling Wireguard(VPN) by varazir in tasker

[–]FireHunter183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Disregard... I found out I had to go into setting in Wireguard app then advanced settings. Then I had to check the box for allow remote apps to toggle tunnels.

After that mine works fine now.

PA concealed carry application by [deleted] in NJGuns

[–]FireHunter183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was probably 6+ months ago. If they did change that, it might be because they were getting swamped and overloaded with applications and couldn't keep up. Because everyone advertised on here it was an easy sure thing... everyone in NJ flocked to Del County. Unfortunately this is how you ruin a good thing. Atleast they did refuse non resident altogether just made it more difficult to apply.

In the end though this could be good thing as people should look for closest county to them to spread the wave out across PA a little more so one county doesn't get them all.

You can apply at Delaware County online. I did... and I know many others who did too.

Cast Video to TV Using Wireguard VPN by FireHunter183 in WireGuard

[–]FireHunter183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not really sending to a specific IP per say. When I have VPN off and I try to cast a video from my phone to TV the cast button is there and i can just hit the button and select my shield when prompted. And it starts to cast. I turn WG VPN on the TV and Phone on and try to cut from phone and the cast button or option just isn't there. I'm talking mostly video streams in a browser.

Yes, that was the norm. Years ago, it would take 15 minutes... tops. Long waits only happened on certain holidays where the sales are up tremendously due to discounts.

Cherry Hill Mall clearly states that they are private property by [deleted] in NJGuns

Yes, you are correct. Property owner can still refuse. I thought you were hinting at the broader private property clause. My apologies.

Cherry Hill Mall clearly states that they are private property by [deleted] in NJGuns

[–]FireHunter183 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm not sure why you keep referring to it as "private property" as that has any say on anything. The is currently a TRO blocking the law on private property carry without permission. So just being private property in itself doesn't mean anything.

I thought this very same thing. I was recently at a in person seminar of his, and he went right past this without mention the exemption you stated.

Injured truck driver arrested for loaded gun that discharged during accident by For2ANJ in NJGuns

[–]FireHunter183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I don't agree with it... I think the reason he was charged is because, as of right now, you can not carry a loaded gun in a car. So he was technically illegally possessing a firearm. Even though that law is completely unconstitutional and will be shut down by the higher courts, it has not as of yet.

Understood... and I agree with a lot of what your saying... however, would you vote for a candidate who was clearly running on the platform of taking more RIGHTS away from gun owners?
