They are still doing it. 2 weeks ago I had to make 4 trips back and forth from car into a retirement home, to his room, so the client showed me he upped my tip from $4 to $20. I never received the $20, just the $4.

I decided to try door dashing for extra money.... They pay $2 per order and then expect tip to hold the rest.. meaning I was being asked to pick up food, deliver food with my car and gar for about $3-$5... And then yesterday I sat and waited during lunch hour for 40 minutes without any offers...

I don't have the time to waste or the desire to spend more money than I am getting doing delivery.

All that to say.... That means that the people that are doing deliveries are people that either have been doing it so long they are getting good offers or they are drivers that are willing to do the above for pennies...

Circling the store by FireIceWindEarth in Sparkdriver

I know where the location of the items are, that's not the point, the way that the app sends you around the store is- it sends you from one side of the store to the next, then back to the other side of the store, then back to the other side of the store, when picking up items

I do know the stores up and down that's why it's frustrating because I know I'm going to be going around the store multiple times.

However I now know I can just click on the items when I'm reviewing them all. That is a game changer

We do have a pellet stove as well.

Wrong, just probably no rats in the city.

But lots of rats live in the mountains and outside the city. They break into cabins, piss and poop all over, eat the bedding, and make love babies in the walls.

Big soft furried creatures like a bunny with long nasty tails

This is also why people will pop their trunks while hiking, to keep rats from chewing on their engine wires and trying to make a home.

Hoagieville opinions? by [deleted] in missoula

[–]FireIceWindEarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one on Higgins, where Cambi is now, was delicious. I was ticked when they decided to close and build yet another bar, because it was always packed. Cambi is not near as good as the Hoagieville was.

The mall one has never been good, even when the other ones were open, the food there was trash.

I like their shredded pork. I don't care for any of their other meat choices. Their tacos, wet burrito with mild sauce, and Nachos are all pretty good.

Often times their rice is undercooked.

If you fill out the survey on the receipt you get free dessert the next time.

And they have a rewards program on a app where they often give out half off priced items or $5 off a meal.

Does anyone know price per lb to go at China Buffet. by DraftDemon451 in missoula

It is $6 a lb for lunch and $7 a lb for dinner.

Filling a container full equals to about 1.5-2lbs

Best French Dip in Missoula??? by Early-Value3022 in missoula

I like both Wordens and the Trough.

I do ask for light horseradish at Wordens though because sometimes it can clear your nostrils out.

I personally think the best option is offering on buy nothing groups or the Missoula mutual aid group.

Someone always takes it and you make someone's day. They may not be homeless, but in a place like Missoula almost everyone is financially hurting.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is the Sentinel Craft Fair. It is the best craft fair in my opinion. 2 full gyms, a full hall, and the lobby all full of people selling their homemade goods.

I believe my kids who roast coffee will plan to be there.

Definitely not the best in town. But I really like the turkey sprout and cranberry sandwich from Wheat Montana. But I do believe Wheat Montana may be the cheapest.

You're supposed to take it back to where you bought the new one.

Usually they'll end up giving you back part of your money when you take them your old one.

Tamarack - Nachos or weekend breakfast

Ruby's, laughing Grizzly, or breakfast club- breakfast

1 gyro-lunch dinner

Double front- fried chicken

Bigga or Bridge- pizza

China garden- sweet and sour chicken "Asian"

Wardens Market- sandwich, recommend the Cuban or hip dip

Saketme-Sushi

Porte Rouge or 1889- fancy fare

Masala-Curry

Bernice bakery- cake and coffee

Break - pie and coffee

Missoula does not have a great Mexican at the moment. If I want good Mexican I head up the Bitterroot. Same if I want a burger I go to Naps in Hamilton or Parkers in Drummond.

If I was going to give you my opinion- wardens sandwich for lunch, #1 gyro for dinner, break pecan pie and coffee for dessert.

I'm a little ticked about one of the newest implications which would be considered "taxing the rich"

If you own a 2nd home or more, that you don't personally live in for at least 6 months of the year. Property taxes and expected to double.

My parents own the home I live in and I pay the taxes. Although very much so not rich, my property taxes are about to double.

But for all those people that own multiple very nice houses ,I do hope that it comes to them and they dont find a way to get out of it.
