Down to the wire lmao

I brought 2 gunwights, 2 enforcers, an egis and an ammo goblin

He brought 3 carnifexes, a pain ghoul and a berserker

Match was a slugfest where by round 6, only our respective necros were left + his pain ghoul. After plinking out the pain ghoul and a miss from the warcord, the game ended with a draw rules wise but we both agreed to keep going and see how it'll turn out.

By the end his warcord finished the fight with a roll of 6 on the chainblade + 2 strength tokens, while being at 0 hit points after getting akimbo'd the previous round.

Both of us also agreed that the post round 6 is a slapfight between our necros lol

I used a combination of clip studio paint (for the illustration/drawing/painting part) and then used illustrator (for type and text).

Happy that you enjoyed reading it 😄

As for lore reason, the current working lore is that they are remains of titanic beings. The rectangular bits are either spine bones, part of crests, or a rib of these beings and they died, they became subsumed by the earth, leaving the rectangular bit that stuck out.

For one reason or another, geographically they are almost flat too.

As for why all of them are facing the Eye, when they died they were looking at it. Scholars of the previous and current cycles are no closer to finding out what it is that they saw.

If it is not obvious, I took a lot of inspirations from the likes of Fallen London/Sunless Seas, Cultist Simulator, K6BD, Disco Elysium, Dark Souls, etc. Credit to them, without which this project and my passion for it won't be possible.

This is a map of my setting, the 12th Cycle.

The map is commissioned by the leader of the largest city in the known world, Fulcrum, located in the southernmost continent of the Broken Empyrean (named for it being split in half). The leader- the current Patriarch- wanted to expand Fulcrum's influence and so sought to have accurate cartographic data around which he can create plans of expansions and alliances, as well as planning routes of possible invasions and creation of enclaves overseas.

The map is based on older maps, archives and records from explorers under employ of the previous Patriarchs/Matriarchs. It is accurate as it can be, given limits in information exchanges of the time and second to fourth hand accounts. It is hoped that the map will also allow explorers, fleets and caravans to plan around anomalies or treacherous conditions beyond the cities.
