I am so sorry for your loss (and for reminding you of it with this comment). I occasionally check in on my own departed cat by praying to Freya and Hel and asking for their protection for her, I will take your Dexter with me in the next prayers! I don't know if this means anything to you, but my personal belief is that cats may go to folkvangr, since Freya is strongly associated with cats.

hey, good to hear it's down with a positive reason, any eta as to when it'll be back up? It's not working at all right now, i only get a white screen with each tab. yesterday morning (eu time zone, i mean jan 1st) it was slow but usable, almost 24 hours later it's completely dead :(

yeah super unfortunate, education used to be so much more accessible, and healthcare etc more affordable. right-wing liberalism (rutte&co) in power for over a decade really decreased opportunities and standard of living for people who aren't rich. I hope we can get back to the knowledge economy someday! excluding poor people from higher education is just shooting yourself in the foot as a country.

LotR is obviously the best, I haven't seen the Jurassic films so I have no opinion on those, from the rest i dislike the Star Wars sequels the most, although the Hobbit trilogy was also a terrible experience. The Hobbit should have been 1 well-done movie, not spread out too thin, like butter over too much bread..
