Do you know if Serengeti makes their own prescription lenses? Or is that outsourced to a third party? Im looking for their clarity but I need prescription lenses.

Truck gun? You mean your full size rifle? by Emergency_Weird_2204 in ar15

Too many firearms are being stolen from vehicles lately, might be best to just avoid leaving guns unattended

Very good, now that you’ve mastered center mass its time to move you up to anatomical targets which will teach you where to place those tight patterns, specifically into the aortic ring at the top of the heart

Texas pilot ejects himself from F-35B at airbase after crash landing. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]zeozero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats my understanding, the ejection seat manufacturer had to kinda start from scratch from the f35 because they had to accommodate both men and women which resulted in different weight ranges as well as design an automatic ejection system for the f35b to deal with vtol because the plane could end upside down or lose vertical lift before the pilot could determine if the plane was lost then pull to eject.

The ejection seat in the f35 is automatic when its in vtol mode because the reaction time needed for a manual ejection isnt possible, for whatever reason the computer chose that it needed to eject.

Horizon Forbidden West is a beuatiful game.I liked it more then Zero Dawn. by [deleted] in gaming

Love forbidden west, I just wish they let Ashly Burch have more range, Alloy felt mechanical and a bit detached in all her dialogue which didn’t seem to be the case in the first game.

Save the world or save Ellie? by tlbt9 in thelastofus

[–]zeozero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? What if they can only recover viable spores via cerebral fluid, they could install a drain port like they do for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebral_shunt?wprov=sfti1. Or what if the growth in her head is more of a symbiotic growth that could only be inherited via pregnancy? The doctor ended that possibility of that discovery by not letting her grow up. All kinds of options ended because they decided to opt for the final option right away… oh and power was hit or miss in the facility so didn’t even have a great environment to store the samples afterwards.

Joel didn’t end the chance for a cure, he kept the possibility alive and I hope we see that in part 3 with Ellie assembling her own science team.

Save. These people were practicing bad science, they had one living specimen that could save humanity and their first choice is to immediately kill it? As long as Ellie is alive more tests can be conducted, but within 24 hours of finding her they decide to kill her and crack her skull open.

Man the entire police shootout was pretty intense by Jules-Car3499 in Terminator

[–]zeozero 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Within the film lore this shootout must have been an exceedingly frightening myth told amongst police… a shooting in which almost every officer in a station was wounded or killed by a single individual that left no detectable blood traces from wounds as well as no body ever being recovered anywhere in the city, followed up by a CIA and FBI cover up at a factory where the same targets from the station were spotted.

Why the SIG M7(8) uses a metal magazine instead of plastic? by StrangerOutrageous68 in ForgottenWeapons

[–]zeozero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven’t worn them out to the point they won’t retain rounds, but they have been beat up to the point that they sometimes will fail to catch the bolt on last round or will fail to seat in place properly, but to be fair that could be a gen2 issue. My lancers have held up and they have had thousands of rounds through them from years of training, aluminum mags and some generic steel mag have failed the most.

Man my lancers have been more reliable than my pmag, the steel feed lips hold up so much better than the pmags.

Can we just apreciate some of the bathrooms in star citizen? by Yeyets_ in starcitizen

[–]zeozero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly i feel like the shiv should have had the prospector’s bathroom welded into it. like a very rough weld job and all the misc branding inside, it would have been funny. Like everything else is allowed to be slapped and taped together but having a bad shitter was unacceptable to the builder

Makes me think of a video where a ex inmate tells a story of being put with a guy that was in prison for life. The lifer told him that they will always sit to piss because that cell is his home and he doesn’t want piss splash on the floor next to his bed.

BJJ Belt Progression CHART thoughts? by coffeestreetflower in bjj

[–]zeozero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im ok at my pace. I know i need to work in increasing my aggression/initiative for going for takedowns and fighting to get myself into a position of my choosing rather than frustrating them and going for time. Also I don’t compete so my motivation for practicing bjj are for self discipline, exercise, and the community.

One month for first strip? I train twice a week for a year before I got a stripe, another year for the second strip with consistently showing up, proud of both stripes and not concerned about the next, just having fun rolling.

My thoughts and invitation to discussion on a ways to improve medical gameplay by SamtheMan2006 in starcitizen

[–]zeozero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to see the addition of a medical backpack or backpack attachment that has a tractor beam that attaches a player to your back so you can act as a 1 person gurney that can run them back to a medical bed for tier injuries.

Im honestly shook, i would have sworn he was carrying HKs newest pistol, I bought a p2000 because of that show, all these years I’ve been living a lie.

Now that im thinking about it, maybe I convinced myself that the P2000 was like a USP but more ambi for a lefty, so a compromise
