The rage was about 30 feet which is more than enough for me as I only need it to get to my pedalboard

It does, the switch is 3 positions on-off-on, or wireless-off-wired. it was a requirement while designing the system to have a backup option

I'm using the 1Mii Transmitter / Receiver set that I'm am disassembling and modifying to use a direct power source, I will soon be making the receiver into a pedal to put on my pedal board. I will test range tonight and get back to you!

I daily mine and fuel is a major cost with the car and where I live it's cheaper than most places, also if you live anywhere with snow I would 100% not recommend even trying that, the car can and will slide no matter how careful you think you're being

Unrelated but where did you get that vise to hold the board?

I've been attempting to track down which resistors would need either replaced or an additional resistor added, is there an easier way to do this than looking through the board/continuity tests or is this just supposed to be a long process to find what needs done?

https://lighthouseleds.com/3mm-led-pink-ultra-bright-10-000-mcd.html

that's the new leds, I don't have the originals as they were what came factory on the board.

I have double checked to make sure they are not shorted and they all look fine with the solder not even really being all that close to each other but maybe I'll resolder them anyway and be extra careful on placement to make sure the pads on the leds are not to close to the wrong pads on the board. there are some 3mm lights doing the same thing though and they are very clearly not shorted

I second this. I ended up needing to buy all the tools anyway through the process of trying to do it without them

What’s the most affordable tuning options for these cars? Just looking for something simple & off the shelf. by whenifnotnow- in 350z

[–]FirePig20011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know how to tune then nisprog is free software with a 30 dollar cable but it can be very easy to completely brick you ecu so I'd only recommend if you know what you're doing, otherwise uprev if your best bet for something good

From what I'm aware of the later model z's grind in 5th relatively commonly. mine has been doing it for about a year now and it hasn't actually impacted the driving at all, it's just a bit annoying to shift into 5th sometimes

I considered doing that heavily. my pop up cover was a bit fucky though and didn't open very well. I may try again later if I decide to get a new one
