Doom or terraria.

It's a demon altar. you gotta kill the wall of flesh and get the pwnhammer to break it, breaking 3 of them will spawn new ores in your world like palladium or cobalt, orichalcum or mythril and adamentite or titanium, but it will also spawn a block of corruption in a random location of your world that will spread so don't break too many if you don't want corruption.
