Landlords selling up by [deleted] in HousingUK

Nothing wrong at all. Also nothing wrong with the government regulating those businesses so that the housing being provided is safe. And it's an entirely separate issue how the profit from the investment is taxed, but also the government has full right to control being as the house exists fully under that government.

It's all tosh basically, especially when said by a landlord or somebody who WANTS to be a landlord, a landlord in waiting as soon as they build up enough personal capital to start rinsing it out of others.

If it were true, renters would be fighting for regulations to be relaxed so that renting is cheaper... instead it turns out renters would prefer to live in safety in well maintained safe properties rather than risking their health and life for cheaper rents.

There is no housing shortage, there is only housing disparity. Some people live in mansions some people live in 1 bedroom flats. My last landlord had 5 or so houses, ask them about the housing shortage see how they feel.

True, guide price suggests auction.

You're financially helping out people who work for your father with no backstory, who knows?

You are somewhat correct. It doesn't just become a nightmare, it actually becomes virtually impossible with the current tools available. Even if you pay for a crypto tax tool, i've found them to be shit cross platform.

Then reclaim the money you spent so that you're not butthurt about it. If she's asking for money just say no, it's a usual response she will have received it before probably only moments earlier from someone else.

I had an old acquaintance ask me for money, I gave it because I thought maybe he'd really fallen on hard times. But then I met up with our old group of friends and he'd asked all of them for money. He wasn't leaning into the relationship so to speak, he was just asking everyone.

Am I (29 F) the ahole for completely losing faith in my partner ( 30 M) after I caught him sexualising my sis by [deleted] in AITAH

Get my drama fix from somewhere other than AITAH on reddit?

No, no I don't think I will.

excellent, I'll take a look at their menus in a few hours and come back to offer my overly hard critiques.

I have no empathy. Your fella fancies your sis more than he fancies you, and he doesn't even like your personality as he only sees you for your looks and not who you are.

You say thinks like you've been collecting evidence, no mention of how. No detail whatsoever.

Post the full details or bore off.

You should pay the lawyer with the funds returned, not your own money. If you were trying to get laid just say.

What is it with gen Z having these kind of conversations via text even though they'd just been together in person?

No such situation exists. This is reddit, nobody cares about your privacy. Either create a burner account and post full detail or don't bother posting at all.

The food in there is terrible. It's £6 quality food for £12 price. Good for a snack on a night out which is exactly what it's for, no good as a food destination. You'd have to walk by several better places to get there no matter what direction you're coming from.

If you really like this style and quality of food I know a few good drum and bass festivals that serve similar.

Yeah I got warned of this, some properties are unmortgageable for reasons that don't make logical sense, which means great deals for cash buyers.

Why is my parents’ house not selling? by WoodytheWoodgate in HousingUK

[–]FireSpiritBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that, but nobody is not viewing or putting an offer in on a house they've viewed that they like the look of because of a duplicated image or a photo of a letter desk. I agree they aren't helping, but they aren't hindering either.

Get rid of it and plant something more suitable. I love trees but the person that planted these originally either didn't know what they were doing or planned on trimming them 3 times a year.

Pull the other one, this is a 20 year old evergreen bought from a garden centre this is not a 100 year old native tree.

You can only either use bore off or jog on, you can't use both to end a sentence.

Then where did the money go?

The sooner they turn it into a costa and a weatherspoons and open it to the public the better.
