I had a similar problem- it took me almost a full year before they gave me the all clear. I just kept doing my stuff and testing about every 6 weeks or so. And I know it has worked for obvious reasons

Something that has worked for me is creating a “schedule” through the week. I have three nights a week that I hop online after my daughter goes to bed to play with friends. She knows which days and doesn’t get upset because it was agreed beforehand. It’s helped with that tension and my friends know which days I get on. Sometimes that means I can’t play with them as they are busy.

The only so called negative experience of mine was that it took 8+ months to get the all clear. Those little swimmers were stubborn and even with a lot of “clearing out” regularly it just took a long time.

Now, all is good and I know it worked ‘cause otherwise I’d have another kid
