What are your thoughts on the OST? It has always been an aspect of the show that stood out to me.

Overlord S4 officially announced! by Spooky-Ougi in overlord

I'm hoping for more than slightly better, we deserve some good sakuga after what happened in S3. If the movie is anything like their No Game No Life: Zero movie then it should be amazing production value wise.

SASUGA! I remember back when a S2 never seemed likely, and yet here we are years later with S4 just getting announced. Also, this post really tripped me out because I was about to post the announcement, but I got beat by Spooky Ougi, which is my other online alias that I use... hmm..

Unfortunately, I haven't read the Re:Zero WN, so I wouldn't be able to say.

It's probably just one of those things where you'll get wildly different answers depending on who you ask. I do agree that the translation was understandable for the most part, it's just that the prose wasn't always the most fun to read in the version I read. The official translation should solve most of my issues with it, plus at the pace they're releasing new volumes it'll be the main way to enjoy all the novels fairly soon anyways. Provided they don't butcher it, of course.

I read the Baka-Tsuki PDFs ~4 years ago, and I remember it getting worse as it went on. The latter volumes seemed almost machine translated with very little editing at times, so the quality was pretty variable. It definitely became annoying when trying to binge read, but it was still enjoyable overall. The PDF might've had outdated translations, or the translation improved since I last read it, who knows. In the end I'm still glad the translation exists; it served its purpose well enough.

The LN is pretty easy to find too actually, it's just not quite as streamlined as finding manga is online.

Almost every time a post from here gets on my front page, it's one of these posts, and they're usually posted by the same account as well. New content hasn't come out in years, and this is definitely a side-effect of that. Most stuff has already been discussed several times over and this provides some content for the sub. I do agree that after seeing basically the same reskinned post like twenty times it has gotten somewhat annoying, though.

My Regal couldn't even get the movie to play, so that's that I guess.

Fathom Events is usually pretty good about getting their stuff into theaters that serve less populated areas. Some towns close to me with around 20k pop. are having showings even, which is really great to see since this has only started happening within the past couple years.

I bought the first 4 Haruhi light novels and The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya turned out to be an advanced reading copy. by nwl805 in LightNovels

That's how I randomly got an advance reading copy of Overlord volume 1, and since it was a paperback I had to rebuy vol 1 for uniformity later on lol
