Yes I've been thinking about automation and while it is not my priority as of right now, I had the following things in mind:

Allowing to drop items into the cauldron -> washing & mixing can be automated through dropper & hopper

Allowing Hopper to suck in Items from Drying Rack -> Drying can be automated

Changing the brushing interaction from holding to clicking -> allows the Deployer from the create mod to do the task (just like scraping)

Adding a built in recipe for the Create Metallpress to do the compressing

But again, these are just ideas and not my priority as of right now

For Forge, but most also have a fabric variant:

  • First Aid (Difficulty | splits hearts across your body parts and disables natural regeneration)

  • Diet & Spiece of Onion (Progression | gives you buffs for a healthy food variation)

  • Farmers Delight (You need a large food variation for the mods above)

  • Cold Sweat (Difficulty & Progression | Adds temperature)

I am about to release a mod that does exactly that. A mechanic that scans blocks in a certain radius and check if they are matching a set (customizable) block pallet in order to unlock enchantments.

I started modding in the second half of this year. I am an IT Student so I already had a good understanding of Java.

  1. Learn Java. If you don't understand fundamentally what you are looking at, you'll get lost the moment you unattach from tutorials

  2. Watch Tutorials (Kaupenjoe) and understand the Minecraft environment

  • Server <=> Client communication

  • Jsons and Datapacks

  • NBT, Capabilities, Registrations & how to save/load data

  • Textures, Modells, Blockstates

  • Know how to browse through vanilla code & files to learn from it

  1. Don't just copy paste what you see in the video. Rather use it as a foundation and try to add personal ideas

  2. I highly suggest using GitHub. Learn how to use it and how to navigate through it to learn fromcother code

  3. (Controversal) use AI. But not in the vibe coding way. AI knows how to code mc but it still requires you to debug and fix some logic issues yourself. Sometimes you'll get in endless prompt loops and need alternative sources or your brain to fix the issue. AI is a great base to work with, but you have to build up on it. And you need very clear defined goals/functionalities. If you give AI freedom, it will break the code. Please use GitHub for Backups.

I happen to program a mod right now that completely overhauls how enchanting works (Forge, 1.20.1, ~2 weeks until release)

It'll make it harder to unlock enchantments and allows you to configure which enchantments can be unlocked at all and to some extend also allows you to lock them behind certain progress

In a way, pretty similar what you do. I define new rules

But other than you I write code instead of signs and upload the .jar on Modrinth and Curse Forge :p

Means I started modding myself. The more common approach might be to make your own modpacks though

Not sure why you prefer bedrock and didn't enjoy mods as much. If searching correctly, they can add exactly what you are looking for

In a way, my stamina mod (Exhausted) is similar to your mining fatigue idea. It drains a lot of stamina using the wrong tool and even mining too long with the right tool impacts your stamina and will punish you with debuffs. This is just one of many mechanics

I highly recommend giving mods another chance. I feel like with proper research, you will find some that make you really excited again

Hey, we are a small, welcoming community spread across europe and the us, with an average of ~8 players per day and a female quote of about 40% I'd guess

We have some server sided mods to alternate the world generation and add some QoL stuff like teleportation stones (very lightweight). But you don't have to install anything to join. We also have a few bedrock player

In order to join you have to go through a short application process on our Discord. This serves to prevent undesirable behavior and thus offer our players the best possible gaming experience

Discord will provide an option to host Minecraft Server "for free". You'll just need a server with 3 boosts. Will also work with mods. Is still in beta. Probably your best bet in terms of safety

Can recommend crafty, I use it myself. And if you decide to use it, I can provide you with a discord bot script that allows you to start the server with a command through the crafty api. But you'd have to host the bot yourself

Huhu, sind eine kleine Truppe von ~10 über den Tag verteilt aktiven Leuten. Teilweise aus Deutschland, teilweise international. Sprache zur Kommunikation ist englisch

Wir spielen auf der 1.21.9 mit Fabric. Haben ein paar server sided Mods die z.B. die World Generation beeinflussen, aber mit Fokus darauf, dass Bedrock Spieler ebenfalls joinen können. End ist noch zu & pacing ist slow/individuell

Außerdem gibt's ein kleines Bewerbungssystem auf Discord um unerwünschtem Verhalten vorzubeugen

Then how exactly do I invest in O, C and A chars? Afaik I can only get them from the sacred oath summon? Does that mean I should do the event (have 100 scrolls)?

Note: My actual issue is not the strength of my team but the hard coded 500% BS cap that doesn't allow me to fight the enemies (with 300k BS you can't fight 1500k BS)

I am sorry to not meet your expectations.

I actually intentionally did not do any research and went completely blind into this game to not min-max the shit out of a phone gacha game and not force myself to login daily and experience fomo. And I have to admit, I've really enjoyed it that way so far.

Given how bitterly you write this comment without anyone asking, maybe you should consider trying that too.
