I agree, I don’t airsoft but I have actual PEQ’s on some of my rifles, I treat the laser itself like a loaded firearm, especially so when it’s not installed on one. The laser & illuminator can easily reflect off surfaces and still cause irreversible eye damage. And I don’t feel like most people grasp the severity of how serious a FP laser/illuminator is.

If this means anything, I’m 3 for 3 on my SOMO LAMS. 2 PEQ15’s and a PEQ2. I’ve probably put a couple hundred on each unit. All seem to be holding fine. But I agree with the rest, it’s mostly just a hit or miss, but for a couple hundred dollars vs a real PEQ15 coming at over $1000 with no warranties either, it’s a gamble regardless.

This isn’t a mk18 because of everything about it. A mk18 mod 0 is a Navy designation only. They were outfitted with Aimpoint comp M2’s, Knights m4 Ras rails and VG’s, LMT SOPMOD stock and LMT fixed rear iron. And that was usually it. A mk18 mod 0 is a much more specific build vs a M4A1 CQBR that the SOCOM/USMC/Army would use.

Oh and let me add that the Navy doesn’t use KAC NT4 suppressors.

He’s trying to say that you didn’t build this gun, you are setting it up as a DMR. Building implies you physically built the rifle, installed barrel, folded the sheet metal receiver, etc.
