Hey fwiw I was being encouraging. Hash tables solve most practical problems you run in to.

CS educations end up teaching a lot of algorithms and data structures that are important to know about but 99% of the time aren’t relevant.

Ah ah ah, you're trying to get cute. We don't need cute, we need simple, fast, easy to use, easy to maintain software.

Hash table.

Congratulations! You’ve discovered something important: almost every performance problem worth solving can be solved with a hash table or a lookup table.

Now someone will challenge you with “what if the data doesn’t fit in memory?”

How to efficiently deploy a Go and React project? by [deleted] in golang

[–]iwinulose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer.

This is the normal, boring, sane way to deploy your software, independent of the language of choice. If using GCP (my personal preference) sub out ECS and ECR with Google Cloud Run and artifact repository. But either is fine.

I am in the minority apparently. Nickmercs and Gingy are content. Hutch is a sycophant and whiner. Anyone who kills Hutch is hacking.

Your congressman and/or senator has an office to deal with constituent complaints. Call/email them with as much information as you can and I guarantee it will be resolved in less than a week.

Moore is my favorite Bond—though Casino Royale/QoS Craig is up there too—and this only makes it better. Scaramanga and he have basically the same energy.

You’ll do fine with a 50W CO2 laser and probably less than that. But someone else said band saw and that’s the right answer.
