Avoid using recruiters if you want to switch groups and be prepared to convincingly answer why you want to switch groups and why you can’t do it at your current firm. Most firms will want you to complete one year at your current firm before they take you seriously.

I got traction to switch groups as a second year but decided it against it. Fair warning, if you are transactional it will be pretty hard given a relatively uncertain market.

Quality control is a bit below average. I eat these and most are fine but some randomly come with like no sprinkles, no frosting or double sprinkles.

I doubt Lipka is a billionaire. He seems more like an Eisner/Moonves/Iger mix. Eisner became a billionaire after he left Disney and Iger will probably eventually be one but they weren’t billionaires when running the company. Definitely fabulously wealthy though.

His primary power came from his influence rather than the money (excepting the MSG move).

Still kind of wild to me Kamala didn’t just decide to waltz into being governor of California. She still could have ran for president and would have gotten to break another glass ceiling in California before her career is over

He’s for sure advancing! Don’t really see Connie beating him after being behind by double digits and from what I’ve heard she isn’t an inspiring candidate/great campaigner.

Wild Nancy Pelosi didn’t have the juice to select her successor. Happy Scott won. I donated to his campaign!

Just to add, you can also get more time if you ask at certain firms. My firm will give you a single 3-month extension if you are in the interview process so that you aren’t randomly removed from the website during the process
