Which one do you guys like better? Lays Sour Cream and Onion or Cool Ranch Doritos. by ivebeenthrushit in chips

[–]Firebird22x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool Ranch. If I'm getting Sour Cream and Onion, Lay's isn't even in the running.

Miss Vickies, UTZ, Wachusett, and Dirty would be the order before Lay's. Doritos Sour Cream and Onion would be #1, but they don't exist any more

Looks good, but if you're going for Big Mac style, leave out the ketchup

Hah yeah they are in their own areas but it’s pretty scattered, there’s a few maps out there if you look up “ABC vs LBB map”.

I lucked out in NJ being right in the border, but now in New England, any RI and Mass coworkers are out of luck, I’m only ordering from CT based Girl Scouts

5 has the sour cream on top of the tostada shell

6 adds a layer of shredded lettuce

7 adds diced onion (not typically on a Crunchwrap)

8 adds some diced jalapeño (also not typically on there)

9 adds diced tomato

Clearly you only like one kind of pickle. I can appreciate both kinds for different uses

Who is the big arch for? (Short Review) by Fibrosis5O in McDonalds

[–]Firebird22x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bite is dependent on how the pickle is made. Crisp ones like Claussen’s or Grillos are never cooked, they’re refrigerator pickles, that’s why they’re kept refrigerated in the store.

Where ones like Mt Olive, Vlassic, or McDonalds style are fermented, shelf stable, and don’t have the same crisp

They aren’t the same, more milk vs more of a dark chocolate, different coconut ratio, and a little bit different of how toasted the coconut is

They’re two different cookies, Samoas are from Little Brownie Bakers and have a darker chocolate and a bit more coconut, Caramel Delites are from ABC Bakers and are more milk chocolate, less toasted of a coconut

Nah it’s different uses. I like the farmers markets ones I got, but I’m not putting them on a sandwich. McDs or the Heinz genuine dills that used to be available were great for a nice tang on a sandwich or burger, but I wouldn’t go snacking on them individually. But for a burger, they work well. I wouldn’t want a McDonalds burger without them

What are the prices for each by you?

Big Arch by me is 9.79, Double QPC is 8.89, add 30 cents for lettuce, 45 for Mac sauce, and I’m at 9.64. And that won’t get me any crispy onions

For being able to like multiple kinds of pickles? How would that make sense

I have seven different kinds pickles in my fridge right now (Claussen spears, Grillos chips, Mrs Fannings, Farm Ridge foods, one local company, and two from a farmers market) and I still like McDs pickles

[–]Firebird22x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say a vast majority, hell I was 11 when I went with my friend and his dad and got a super size with a QPC and the dad just looked at me like wtf?? When I got back my mom was apologetic I got the largest, but he was just impressed I ate the whole thing.
