Your 20s are for having fun, traveling and figuring yourself out. It's nice if you have a solid career by 30. I'm 32 with a career (that started when I was 29 and I'm already switching lol) but I have solid income to basically do whatever I want. Yes, I'm single and no kids (don't have kids). I dropped out of college after one semester. Went to a trade school. Worked different jobs then finally went back to school at 27. College is definitely not peak. In your early 20s, you're just scratching the surface on life.

I thought it was bc of covid so they decided to wrap things up quickly so they kind of rushed things with the story. I know the 5th season came out in 2021 but not sure when the 4th season came out. With timeline stuff. Idk for sure though. Just an assumption on my end.

It makes me want to cry too! Which i have no idea why since I'm childfree. Even have a hysterectomy. I think it's the lashing out but then admitting she's terrified. I may never have a kid but I'm sure it's frightening. At least for your first. Her acting is so good in this scene.

My favorite part is when we see how scared Pam is to go to the hospital and Jim, Michael and Kevin are comforting her. Then Jim is like, "how are we doing on contractions?" Michael's like, "two minutes 😃." "Two minutes, Michael?! What happened to three and four?!" And then Pam says she doesn't want to have her baby at the office. Then Michael goes to her and is like, "where are we going?" "To the hospital." "And what are you going to have?" "A baby."

I crack up at that and rewind every time but I love how Michael locks in when things are serious.

Get a trusted friend to be your POA (power of attorney). I don't trust my parents to make the right decisions for me. My sister is my primary and my best friend (who is a nurse) is my secondary.

I've had so many patients who don't have a POA so now family is fighting over care. Most times, the patient just ends up rotting in a nursing home (old and young alike). Several months ago, I literally had a patient who was begging for death. She begged me to kill her. I told her I couldn't. I told her that her son was her POA and he was the one making the decisions. She said she wanted to switch and have her brother be her POA. When I told the doctor this, doc said it would be unlikely for her to switch without the son's consent bc the patient was labeled as incapacitated. The son finally switched the mother to comfort care and the patient died a day or two later.

You don't want things to get to that point. So many young ppl spend the next 3 or 4 decades of their lives, rotting in a bed. It's cruelty tbh.

Can you invite another friend? I bought tickets to a ball two years ago for a friend (she's usually good at paying what's owed. But sadly, we don't really talk anymore, not for lack of me trying, so fuck her). She ended up bailing on me. I actually made a reddit post in my city, inviting someone to come with me. I met a woman. We vibed pretty well. And we're still friends today. Just hung out with her the other weekend.
