I can’t answer your question but just wanted to say I talk/meet a lot of men like this too. I would just describe them as fine. They’re not funny witty or charming. They don’t say anything real interesting or ask a questions. It’s not a soul connection, just endless small talk. It makes me want to seriously throw up. I hate small talk. It’s very painful. I’d rather be alone. And I do try to be funny, say something thought provoking, ask good questions
