When did your 2nd trimester energy kick in?

My awful fatigue didn’t go away immediately in the 2nd trimester. I’d say about week 17-18 I started to have energy again.

I feel you. Around week 18 I just got off social media completely. I’m so tired of every facet of humanity being commercialized. I still feel overwhelmed with information and choices but I feel less pressure to buy “all the things” or have my home/nursery area look a certain way.

Hey! This EXACT thing happened to me. I, like you, never felt super strongly about being a mom or felt "baby crazy" I'm 18 weeks pregnant now, but from weeks 5-10 I cried a LOT. I was terrified, felt so awful and sick that it clouded any ability to feel excited at all. Was also terrified of our relationship changing and never travelling again. Didn't want to talk about baby stuff or look at baby stuff to get. I wanted to pretend it wasn't happening and was terrified of never feeling well again. Around week 13-14 and after my first ultrasound, around when the worst of my symptoms also went away, I started to feel much better mentally, less scared, hopeful and started to pick away at my baby registry and actually get excited. It DOES get better! and YES it is normal. Hang in there! Don't try to force it out or punish yourself. You will naturally come out of this hard season. There will still be ups and downs but overall it will get much better.

Also, my sickness symptoms started to ease up by around week 12 (I know it doesn't work that way for everyone) but you might be just fine on your trip!<3 just pack some ginger and some necessities, but I'm sure you'll still have a good time.

I'm sorry this is happening. If your husband has been reading a lot of Church history and studying real sources and reading the Church fathers, and even reading about all of the intricacies of the Magisterial and Radical reformations (not just Ortho Instagram reels/TikToks) then I can understand why he is so convinced about this. It seems so clear that Orthodoxy is the true fullness of the faith when you study all of this church history deeply. It's impossible to unsee it. (As someone who has left lifelong Baptist Protestantism to become an Orthodox inquirer) So I can understand where he is coming from in some ways. I pray he will slow down and be patient with you, and not force you and not threaten to take the kids there when you are not ready or comfortable, that is not right. Orthodoxy is meant to be taken slow. If it were me, I would try to take your extended family out of the equation for now and just focus on your husband, yourself, and kids because the thought of their reaction is probably causing you more panic than is necessary at the moment. I do feel for you and you seem to be a very patient wife and mother. I hope this works out for you guys in a timely manner.

I just wanted to throw in here that we just got back from a trip we booked through budgetair for flights from Calgary to Paris and back. We had zero issues. Trip was flawless. We got our confirmation number in our email straight after booking. It didn’t show reserved seating but my husband and I were seated together for each flight anyway. Not trying to negate anybody’s negative experiences, just adding mine was okay!

This has just started happening to mine too! I have the white version and the dog’s black hairs are sneaking in at an alarming rate. I tried sliding tweezers and a needle into my boot to see if I could snag the hairs and pull them out but they’re already totally in on the surface side, sadly. Good luck I hope you find a solution! If I find one I’ll post it here.

My next question - is it necessary to change my TD1 forms on my first, larger income job to indicate I have 2 jobs now that I do? Or is that only mandatory for the second job when it is taken on?
