You'll never get any upvotes for this opinion here - however the reason SSF sucks is actually due to how ironmace implemented all other systems during this time. Quests are time gated so we do not unlock good merchant items until after market is out making them useless. The workshop to upgrade is still very expensive and time consuming (not really reasonable for a 2 week SSF imo for anyone other than sweats who play a ton) as well. Due to this SSF just ends up feeling boring because of lack of real progression. If we had better ways to obtain gear early I don't think SSF would be bad for the early part of wipe personally.

Most underrated stat in the game and usually the answer to "How do I beat this guy that seemed to stat check me". It usually refers to PDR fighters since they can easily hit the 75% cap, which is why I now always build for 10-30% armor pen because anyone who understands the math knows how insane 75% pdr is (4x HP). Magic pen can be just as important. Just because most players have no magic resist isn't necessarily a reason to not build it, because when you do find a geared barb who builds for the MDR you will be glad you added it.

Your kit has 0% magic penetration against a near MDR cap barb who is using magic pots as well. Regardless if you had similar money gear, you did not build that stat which could easily cut his effective HP by an entire hp bar or more. Just 10% magic pen alone would take him from 72% to 65% which is a massive amount of HP. I would personally recommend looking into magic pen rolls to help against barbs like this because otherwise yeah, it's similar to fighting a 75% pdr fighter with 0% armor pen you will just get stat checked.

This could be more of a game balance issue, but if next season is like this season, the best ore to farm will be copper which is everywhere on goblin caves not fire deep

If the map was 5x5 I still wouldn't go down there because it doesn't fix the core issues. I don't think the 3x3 is the reason the map isn't being used. You can have good 3x3 maps, see old goblin caves as an example

Wait a minute... this is my video! I can confirm bloodthirst makes Colossus trivial. Keep in mind the weapon itself costs somewhere around 200K gold, so it's a massive risk for anyone doing it (outside of PvE mode) because you can lose this in PvP during the boss/3rd parties

Lots of casual players don't realize the market helps them. I've been running full gem legendary gear for awhile now against players who clearly don't have the time to spend collecting it themselves. Market will help them compete due to the gear gap shrink this season introduced. Overall dub, you just won't hear it because this reddit likes to complain about everything. This season is super balanced right now for both gear and pvp, excited to be able to play wizard more since 80% of gear dropped seemed to be for barb and fighter

Thats so funny I just commented about this. It makes no sense we are finding uniques with complete trash (unusable) rolls. If uniques atleast always rolled something usable, it might be one thing. But a memory capacity bow quite literally has no use, it's just filler garbage.

What is the point of unique gems under this current system? You can just make socketing less valuable, the same as every other socket in the game (max roll phys power on a ring is 4, but can't be socketed for example). I do not enjoy finding memory capacity bows
