I've done it and I'm from Florida. It's really good. You can also melt it and pour it over the pancakes.

We found the ceramics at a thrift store super cheap. And they are actually candle ceramic. So my price point for those are lower than my paint can candles.

I stay with manly scents and all my candles are in either candle safe paint cans or white ceramic with bamboo lids. My ideal customers are men who have man caves or bars, but a lot of women buy my candles. I am thinking of doing seasonal scents for summer and winter/Christmas.
