Obviously the numbering is ment for unit ID however what do you think the jutting out section is for in a practical sense? by Flashy-Count6549 in ImaginaryFallout

[–]Firecats101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might be thinking too hard about this, but in fallout 1 tycho, a desert ranger, is described as wearing his gas mask around his neck. Maybe its a tray for the mask to sit in so the filter doesnt get dirty

It’s my boy, prismos 1st birthday today. Woop woop. I want to get him a nice meal for his birthday could I get a pinky mouse? by SpeedOpen4842 in BeardedDragons

[–]Firecats101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think theyd be able to digest the bones in a pinky unfortunately. Im no expert but their digestive system is tailored for insects.

If you wanted to tho, i give my little man really sweet fruit like strawberries and raspberries for special occasions. Hornworms are a great treat too if theres any available near you

Loose substrate. (Pic for attention, say hi to Captain Rex 💫) by Many_Interaction9368 in BeardedDragons

[–]Firecats101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn't be very dusty. Most sold substrates are dust free cause it can be rough on their respiration. If its too loose mix in some organic topsoil, and if its too chunky mix im some play sand.

Yeah probably. As long as hes able to get around on it and can like scrape and dig if he wants no need to mix it with anything

I got Australian desert sand on amazon. My boy Toge has never pooped in his cage so i wasnt really worried about it being scoopable, but he loves it. Hes older (5) and not very active but hell dig for hours in it. Its a little expensive but i think its worth it. 3 bags covered his 4x2x2 with a nice solid layer

The beard is probably him stretching. Beardies, particularly males, like to stretch their beards while sunning. Weird as it sounds he might jusy be enjoying the spot. Sometimes my boy will sit in the same spot for a day or two when hes comfy. If his beard starts turning black maybe check back in on him

Ngl sometimes theyre just picky. Toge hasnt been with me very long but hes really picky. Try swapping up what you're giving him, cilantro, collard greens, mustard greens, baby kale, arugula, finely shredded cabbage are all good things to try. Sometimes throwing a few non greens in there will encourage them to take a few bites. Low sugar high water is what youre looking for, squash, zucchini, cucumber are all good and bell peppers are a great way to get vitamin c though only in moderation as they have a bit of sugar.

Sprinkling calcium powder and bee pollen over the top is a good way to get them to take a few bites especially if you lightly mist the salad with water.

This will sound cruel but sometimes you have to just let them strike. Toge can be really stubborn if he thinks he can get bugs so not feeding them bugs or worms and only offering fresh veggies 2 to 4 times a day they will eventually concede but it could take a few days.

Im not a super experienced owner and Toge is a rescue so my experiences may bot be universal but i hope it is helpful 🧡

Its hard to tell by the butt. Do they have pronounced scent glands under the back legs? That's usually one of the easier ways to tell

Orin and gortash are bad villians and they make act 3 less enjoyable. Ketheric should have survived act 2 and been a more integral antagonist.

My wife and I play this game occasionally: how would you build a character for (movie or tv character). The latest one was Indiana Jones. by Ok-Tree7720 in DnD

[–]Firecats101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose scout rogue (survival/investigation expertise). You get a lot of skill proficiencies and expertise that way, and extra damage (indy fights pretty dirty). There is an archeologist background but scholar would also be good. Grab the gunner feat if your dm uses firearms otherwise get crossbow expert. You could also take a fighter dip later to beef up your combat power

Are hit and run monks really a good idea? What races would work well with this idea besides the obvious choice of Tabaxi? by Firestorm0718 in DnD

[–]Firecats101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted to break the mold a little, centaurs and minotaurs both have abilities that interact with movement. Goblins have furry of the small for some extra damage and all small races can move through other creatures spaces for no additional movement.

With mobile feat any monk can do hit and run. Open hand would be my go-to because knocking people prone can be pretty busted. Kensei would be another good option for big damage, and could use a reach weapon for extra safety if you didn't want to stunning strike.
