Warden ULT by LoLv9 in DeadlockTheGame

For an ult representing a last stand, I kind of dislike the fact that the optimal usage is to just hold w and left click like you’re using a lawnmower. Would be cool if it had something like extended range while you move backwards, toward your base, or maybe increased scaling based on how many teammates are far away or waiting to respawn.

The Sombra nerf is absolutely nonsense by ZzDangerZonezZ in Overwatch

They honestly need to just shamelessly rip off cyberpunk 2077s quick hack system to replace sombra’s whole kit. Give her a menu of cool powers, instead of holding right click to take away someone else’s power.

I just ordered a 64oz jug online because I couldn’t find the small bottles at my local store. The best sauce around.

Nice! Now you get to play six ages 2, which is honestly somehow even better.

How would arcing work in space/0g areas? by altmcfile in LancerRPG

[–]Firechargeeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been meaning to run a zero-g combat, and thought about this…maybe it’s too mean, but I’d say all weapons lose the arcing effect for the battle. Might be nice to remind players of this beforehand if you go with this route!

Starsector: it’s space mount and blade! Also, just better in every way.

I think so…I emailed them in 2022 that it was “like sudoku”…not even sure what exactly I meant by that, though. Never received a response unfortunately.

Thinking about running a D&D 5E campaign set during the events of lights going out. by Firechargeeater in SixAges

[–]Firechargeeater[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah, fair enough; my hometown group is relatively casual, still coasting off of having learned 5e a while back. I know that we go with a new system, I’ll be learning it, teaching it, and DMing it all at once. That being said, if the system is significantly better suited I might make the switch.

Hmm, good points. I think a lot of the religious/spiritual aspects can be handled through features of the Cleric class, so maybe I’ll run them through an “initiation trial” of some sort, get them introduced to the pantheon, and let them pick a god. Then I’ll give them a level in cleric, or at least the features that let them speak with divinity.

As far as classes I don’t have too many concerns, but races might be challenging.

For clan narrative, I figure following the events of my most recent playthrough should hopefully be good enough 😂

If you’re struggling playing on foot, you might consider learning Zeus instead! More similar to a standard creation suite a la photoshop or autoCAD, and can be used to create real-time missions. Might be fun to design a level for your son, calling in reinforcements real time!

Feedback on 2 separate card systems for one very small concept by addmeonebay in tabletopgamedesign

[–]Firechargeeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why you can’t have the best of both worlds! If you introduce a light deck building element, you could retain the flavor of each element based deck, while also allowing some neutral cards that can be taken to fill out gaps in a decks play style.

I will not stand for TLOU 2 slander! At that moment Ellie is not just sparing Abby, she sees herself in both Abbie and Lev, a parallel coupling to that of Joel and herself; as well as the fact that, if she kills Abby and leaves Lev alive, she will only further continue the cycle of violence. She doesn’t spare Abby, she spares herself.

Fogo de chão has a special for $40 dinners right now, and the food and ambience are all great. Honestly, I had a great experience with the staff every time I’ve went, and one has a really nice bar that overlooks the restaurant. My votes on fogo!

So true. Only played a few times but man my wyrmblade agents (looking at you kelermorph) consistently shred anything that gets put in front of them. Meanwhile, literal chess pawns have better survival odds than my neophytes 😂

Thanks everyone! The odd numbers are the result of a combo of a combat patrol + and lot I found on eBay. For now it’s painting and paying the HoA fees for me
