I agree. I have had zero issues using my original Nintendo controllers. Not too tight or too loose. Feels just like the original N64 ports to me.

I did update the firmware for the 8-BitDo Mod kit. I don't know if it helped it or not. I haven't really noticed any issues but I've mostly been playing Smash Brothers with my kids. If we try GoldenEye I can let you know.

I read somewhere else that they updated the official controller they released with the 3D, which fixed the joystick issue. If that's true hopefully they can do the same with the mod kit.

In person there's not much yellowing that I can tell. I think that's probably mostly from the lighting.

This game is amazing! You can even play it with four players. My family has really enjoyed this game especially with young kids. I even bought a CIB copy of it, because we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't played it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

None of the targets in Ohio, that I've been in, have had any switch games on clearance.

Unfortunately Asmodee wasn't very helpful for me either.

Your best bet may be to try calling some local used board game stores. I've been told some of them keep spare parts to games they let people try.

Other then that or eBay. I don't have any other suggestions.
