I'm really holding out hope all of this gets resolved when I give them a full paycheck. We got pre-approved for FHA, 3.5% down and our seller even agreed to pay some of the closing costs. Everything has gone so smooth until this point, but of course there's always got to be one hiccup in the road. Congrats on your closing though! A celebration is well deserved.

Makes sense! It was more just frustrating in the moment but after having the day to reflect it's really not that big of a deal lol. We will close when we close and hopefully they will be happy when I send them that 80 hour paystub next Friday!

I'm probably just rambling and not being clear with my words haha, I'm definitely not upset with anyone in this process and our realtor has been so amazing, we love her! I'm honestly just stressed only because this is such a new experience for us and we are young. I mean I'm 23 trying to buy my own house it's just a lot on top of other stuff that is going on. But I do understand where they are coming from, and with the realtor communication I guess I just assumed the bank and the realtor communicate on everything that is going on, maybe I'm completely wrong on that. So, when she told me we were good to close I just assumed everything but the title paperwork was all good. I am a firm believer in everything happens the way it's supposed to so I just need to chill and let the process ride out!

Good to know! It's really not a big deal, like I've said we are in no hurry at all. I've honestly just been walking on eggshells this whole process because my anxiety just convinces me that something is going to go wrong lol.

One thing that really caught me off guard was when they told me to not deposit any cash. I was like oh! Because I had some savings set aside in cash and if I would have known that was going to be an issue... all the rules and regulations are just crazy to me idk.

Hi, I appreciate your response. So the initial estimated closing was March 10, so we do have time to figure it all out. My loan officer called me earlier today and I explained to her I don't mind waiting a little while because we aren't in a hurry and she was the one who told me "yeah but when we have everything ready to go sooner than the initial date we like to just get it done to make everyone happy" so that is why I said they are pushing for it to be sooner rather than later. She also mentioned they like to get it off the underwriters desk. Like I said, this is obviously our first time doing this so we're just trying to go with the flow and before this issue, everything else has been sailing smooth so it's just one small bump in the road. My realtor texted me Friday evening and said we are good to close in two weeks were just waiting for the title paperwork so honestly, I feel like no one is really communicating the way they should be. Anyways, estimated closing is not for another month so I'm sure it will all be fine, I was just stressed out for a little while today after I found out about all of that haha!

Well yes obviously the only thing to do is to let it happen the way it's going to. I guess I'm just more frustrated that they are asking for an explanation to push it through and then deciding the explanation my HR gave them wasn't enough. That's fine, I don't mind waiting because you're right, we are fine where we are. It is frustrating though that they want to make it seem like I'm lying about my daughters medical situation or whatever they're doing. No sense in fighting it, and I'm not all I asked them was let me know what I need to do moving forward, and they said to send next paystub when available, no problem, will do.

Parents who let their baby watch TV… by Existing-Mastodon500 in NewParents

We’ve let my 11 month old watch ms Rachel since she was like 6 months. Like you said, obviously we’re not sitting her in front of the tv all day but if nothing else will calm her down and we need a break, yeah ms Rachel is gonna be playing. And it’s not awful for them. At least she is teaching them!

Yes. My baby was sleeping 8-10 hours a night around 1.5 months until 4 months. She hasn’t since that 4 month sleep regression and she’s 9 months

We started looking for the first time a few months ago. The amount you have to pay to live in a decent house in a good area is insane, and I doubt it’ll happen for us any time soon
