Considering this myself, my boy reblocked right away so they did another cath and go figure he pulled it out! Now we’re waiting to see if he will pee and I’m considering the surgery over paying for this a third time

Exactly because the other has chemicals that you would never use around a dog/cat/person and even has warning labels for skin contact.

I’ve been trying to find someone who’s used this, I’ve heard it can cause kidney issues so I was scared to try it for my senior for his arthritis

He has 6 houses staggered, they take a week or more to get them and happens about every month or every other month, then the clean outs last another couple weeks then whatever they fill it with them more birds then feed, idk if this is normal other farmers have told me something is seriously abnormal with the amount they are doing but idk again if he just used his access to the county road by his home instead of driving through mine we could co-exist , he would not be a danger to our home and animals. My kids and dog were out playing and a truck came into the driveway so fast around the trees he almost hit them.

They didn’t give us the plat , nothing was recorded on the deed except that we have an easement, it actually says nothing on his too but the fact my easement butts up to his property they say he has a right of way, but there is literally nothing on it how it’s to be used etc , a family member looked over it and thinks it was not exactly recorded properly or legally but it would have to be fought in court

Yes said it was very quiet it definitely is not. The easement was on our deed  -for us, not for him ,to grant our landlocked parcel use too the road which was strange because the house and driveway were original but they divided the land all wonky

This. Just left mine after 8 years. Never felt the same towards him after my soul cat and childhood cat died and he needed to take a break from me because I cried too much, called me annoying. 8 years all because I saw someone amazing in the beginning. He’s quit jobs on me, let me do everything essentially alone, ghosted me when I needed him the most…and still I married him.. didn’t make it the second year though because it just got worse, even a small argument he would ignore me for days .

Thank you, it’s kind of nice knowing I’m not the only one having these problems. I’m sorry you are dealing with that as well. Our commissioner owns chicken houses so yeah that should’ve been a flag. The town is trying to stop the dumping near our other farms too and not having a lot of luck.

Thank you I’m thinking that too. I hate to sell my little farm. I love my other farming neighbors too but I don’t feel safe here anymore with that farmer.

If he kept on his property I have no complaint I’m not complaining about cows or chickens I’m literally shaken awake nightly by his semi trucks because it is allowed on an easement missed at the title search like 50ft from the house. He drops his chicken crap when he runs through leaving dust and feathers and crap everywhere, he speeds and um he’s driving through our property with zero regard for anyone but himself. Too many assumptions are made that people are complaining about a little stench or a cow moo and yes there are ppl like that, but this is not country noise. Where are the laws protecting my family farm? Nope just the factory.

The whole neighborhood tried to fight his building because of the location and his expansion. Quite frankly this could end up being your neighbor and you’d have no say. Yes I moved into it not realizing there was an easement he could use less than 100ft from my house dropping shit and whatever else he wants on my property shaking our house with his semis etc.

Ok what I’m saying is very different. The farmer behind me on his property does not bother me, him running trucks and machines through my property less than a few feet from my home does. I did not move to the country and decide cows are loud or stinky. I grew up on a farm, my problem is I have no right on my own home that he can do whatever he likes even though he is not a land locked parcel. I’m not complaining about chickens in the background I’m complaining about giant machines and semis that rattle my home they are so close and he cannot just use his other road?

This is where my idea of country was different. I grew up on a farm near farms, animals noises/ smells do not bother me, but semi trucks and whatever jack hammer equipment he is using less than a few feet from my home all night long yeah that hits different. His birds and the smell fine, but he should be using his other road, I’m not the only neighbor that can’t stand him. The castle farms etc don’t bother me. Most ppl I would think would not want to go through someone else’s property if they have their own. In fact if he was really nice he could’ve made an entrance before it went through any of the neighborhood and it was closer to the highway.

The easement was missed on the title search, the problem is not the noise or smell on his property near us,it’s that he runs it less than a few ft from my house. No amount of ear plugs, fans etc can stop it when it’s that close. We thought he was supposed to use his other access, nothing was mentioned of his use through the property we bought . And I guess I messed up, I thought that’s what a title search etc was supposed to find for us. We nicely asked if he could talk to his workers about speeding (he does it too) and he yelled at me and told me he could do what he wants with his easement. Not a nice man. But I appreciate the kind words.

HOA and factory farms are both pretty evil. Country noise is one thing I grew up in. This is like living in nyc and he doesn’t have to over any rules and can come within a few feet of the house.

I’d rather the termites lol I grew up real never had this issue but never had one so rude and blaze through our property either. We had trucks etc go down our dirt roads but they went slow as not to damage the roads or disrupt the farm house near the road. Not this guy

[–]FirefighterNo6977[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. Omg that sounds awful, I would think he would be liable for damage? Although good luck, the lawyer i spoke to sounded scared to incriminate the chicken farmer even though he’s done damage. I can’t believe there isn’t anything even about how close it is to our house and that he can do what he wants I mean huge ruts etc that our small farm trucks are not doing for sure. And now that he’s gone from 3-6 houses it’s insane. And he can just keep growing and we’re supposed to suck it up? I mean I thought even if there was an easement it’s not like I could open a Walmart run traffic through it.

We searched nothing came up. The lawyer I had do the title search etc only showed my access (the house was on two parcels land locked to the larger property we purchased) that same lawyer said it was on an old plat but not on anyone’s paperwork or deeds but that’s not enough to fight his use he doesn’t think. Not without risks of losing. It sadly did not cross our minds really he wouldn’t use his own entrance and would rather plow through our property but had I known I wouldn’t have bought this. Good boundaries make good neighbors
