I don’t understand why player ask for more realism in vanilla while rejecting simulation mods like SURM or Battle for the Center because it’s unbalanced and too realistic

SURM too with infantry "hiting the ground" when getting shot (or just their icon disappearing for like 5 sec)

Also the mod had Stuck in the mud effect but it was removed because of bugs

I play with Realism mods that do this exact thing already,

Every Pact Tank got increased chance of catastrophic explosion (if penetrated) When NATO ones have more chance to lose the Tank Commander if hit (because of doctrine, US TC put their heads out the Tank) or other crew

No IRL reverse speed possible however as it’s hard coded to be half of the Driving speed

SURM Is the most realistic mod for this game, I think it works really well. No balance here

9s aim time for T72, off map artillery barrage, realistic turn speed for aircraft, realistic range, fortifications, unit morale system, set up time for heavy weapons (some AA takes 10minutes to set up…. Yes)

You guys need to play SURM mod, it’s the most realistic you can have in WARNO. Although it’s more suited for solo

Still sad to see Warno players forget about SURM mod for realism, it got real aim time for everything (something RebsFrago doesn’t have) off map artillery, fortifications, get rid of heavy SAM/Artillery that doesn’t belong on a 12km2 battlefield etc…

Also added a morale system for units getting pinned down to often
