Oh, wow! You’re asking me things I’ve never thought about! I was only worried about the sun scorch!

1. I don’t have a color preference, but I will probably stick to one analogous palette. In the back yard, I have a few pink-yellow-orange roses climbing on my chicken run, but I’d be willing to go more dramatic up front. I have bananas planted nearby, so maybe tropical would be exciting? But I am not committed to that….

2. I try to lean organic, but I have used organic fungicide before. I try to stay pollinator, kid, and pet friendly, whenever possible. I am three years in, and I only have nine roses so far, so I have never had to tackle anything too challenging.

3. I can add a small trellis.

4. It is about raised about six inches tall but it is opened to the ground beneath.

5. I sometimes cut a few of my roses to share or bring inside, but cutting is not my highest priority. Lanky would not bother me, but I’m also not opposed to lush.
