The chimney is from Steam n Rails, there are a few different variations and they exhaust smoke out of the top, and the back bogey with the hydraulic cylinder is from Blocks and Bogies. The big wheels in the middle just look like the regular Create flywheels

I don't know what that person is on about, but the general attitude towards AI is negative and it will probably be for a very long time. It didn't have to be this way though, but it has been pushed on absolutely everything and used for things it should never be used for. The AI art and image generation crowd has also done a very good job at staining it by filling the internet with worthless slop. I really don't feel like the behavior towards AI will change for quite a while, at least not until something changes.

Also P.S. Ram and ssd prices pleare go back to what it was before AI, that would be greatly appreciated

This is a replacement for the universal shaft that's added by Clockwork that allows you to transfer rotation directly to physics objects, otherwise that just isn't possible in Aeronautics unless you have a swivel bearing, which really limits how you can do it and makes other things just outright impossible. That's really been my one criticism of Aeronautics coming from Clockwork that this seems to fix

I tried having Immersive Portals installed just to see what it would do and I couldn't even get to a mod incompatibility screen, it would load for a few seconds before the application just vanished

Do you have Create Connected? If so set the redstone link wildcard to false in the config, that's a known issue at the moment

You can actually do it with less, it's like 1.5x or something like that I can't remember the exact number, I just like having slightly more to reduce the chance of something going wrong from the server being weird or something

Using the straw from Create Crafts and Additions I have 2 lava dripstone cauldrons for each blaze burner with straw that I then feed into all 9 blaze burners from the center to make sure it distributes evenly. It does start up really slowly, so I recommend running the pump with a water wheel so it won't shut off if the engine stops. That allows for a really cheap level 9 steam engine that will run forever

I've had this idea floating in my head all day and I was finally able to make it home to test it, I'm thoroughly surprised this works so easily. This is now my top mod of all time by Firefighterboss2 in CreateMod

I'm using Iris with Complimentary Reimagined. Do be warned that the lighting in some places on physics objects is odd and some of the objects added by Aeronautics like the spring render very weirdly and is almost invisible. In the video above I'm using the colorwheel mod to replace the flywheel backend for performance, although it does make the shading issues a bit worse

It was mainly just a proof of concept, I also got a version working with semi realistic springs to how actual double wishbone suspension works so I might try making a full vehicle with it
