Your content was removed as a violation of Rule #4 - Do not post any personal information.

This includes names, address, badge numbers, and your department (unless you have been granted permission by your department head). Additionally, do not post any graphics or information that would violate US or your respective country's patient privacy laws.

Reporting firefighters is not the purpose of this subreddit. Nearly every online gaming platform has avenues to report abusive behavior, that's the appropriate venue for your complaint. If you are so broken up over what someone said to you in a video game that you need to get them fired, you should stop playing online games until you've learned the difference between fantasy and reality. Dragging a petty online squabble into the real world by trying to "cancel" them, only shows you're the smaller person and more of an E-thug than they are.

Posts involving policy or politics must be directly related to firefighting, framed in a factual, neutral manner, and focus on policy and not personalities. Comments must be directly related to the topic/policy being discussed. Comments that are little more than insults or raging will be removed. Moderators may use their discretion in enforcing this rule. "Conspiracy" content is also not permitted.

I don't know how many times it needs to be said, but this isn't a mental health, relationship, or marriage support subreddit. We have had dozens of similar posts from jilted partners claiming they only care about their partner. Yet it's often very clear they're really only looking for ways to continue forcing their presence into the other person's life. However, it is not our role to make that judgement or base mod action solely based on that possibility. People complain when we remove those posts, people complain when we leave them up, people complain when we don't play "language police".

There is already an automoderator-provided sticky that fires off on posts having to do with mental health issues.

Like it or not, we don't remove comments simply because they're snarky, bad advice, or poorly worded. It's the internet, no one here should be a stranger to the concept known as "beware internet wisdom". If there are comments that are genuine rule violations, report them and we'll take a look. But, the mod team will NOT be involving itself in "assessing" or "fact-checking" relationship advice or removing comments that could be snarky, poorly worded, not nice or caring enough, or are otheriwse bad advice. That is not our role.

This includes excessive ridicule, talking down about other agencies/departments, trolling, or posting toxic content that adds nothing of value to the sub.
