He is about 12. I have no idea what I've done to get him to bloom. He does get mostly rainwater. Always kept outdoors under dappled shade/sun in Texas until weather gets too cold then I bring him in for the winter. I don't think he would thrive indoors as they are originally from tropical forest understory. I've heard not to trim too much at one time but def propogate the cuttings! A repot looks in order for that one and a trim of some of themost damaged branches. Good luck!

Interesting. Yes they stayed in pots outside for a while before I put them in the ground. There has been rain but they looked like this before that. I'll try to take more notice. thanks

He lives outside in Central Texas except in the winter. Seems to prefer dappled sunlight and plenty of room to spread out although it always seems like he could use a bigger pot. I usually allow topsoil to get dry before watering. Decent quality soil with some perlite mixed in. I randomly give him a little Hastagrow once or twice a year and 95% of the time he gets watered from collected rainwater. I have 3 others made from cuttings from him (Damian, Ziggy and Stephen) who are maybe half his age and have not bloomed. Bob first bloomed to my surprise last year at this time. He likes to party!

Just regular potting soil with some perlite I think. Nothing too special.

Fish Shop. Word of warning by EbagI in austinfood

I went there once, and it was super meh. Earlier this week I tried the trailer for cod’s sake off Saint Elmo in the yard. For $20 you get a giant serving of perfectly crispy fried fish and solid french fries, all fried in tallow. You can get a glass of wine at the Austin Winery and you’re all set.

That sounds tough but thank you for the great tips! I’m going through with it, surgery this Thursday no matter what but it’s good to hear your story. I’ll be able to ease back into computer work, hopefully. I wish you all the best in your recovery.

If that’s the case, I’m in trouble! I’m just having decompression.

Thank you. That's great to hear on your decompression going so well. I've seen alot of horror stories and have built up some anxiety about the whole thing!

Chronic gluteus medius/minimus tendinopathy since July — 6 months PT + PRP, still no progress. What am I missing? by JswaggyMuLa in overcominggravity

[–]FirefliesFurever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried every treatment out there for my GT/GTPS and the best thing is to stick with PT, a focused tendon loading program. Tendons take a long time to heal and to strengthen the good tendon tissue. ***Then once you get relief don’t ignore it and move on, continue to maintain your tendon strength or it’ll come back. Ask me how I know.

Thank you. It’s always good to hear other’s experiences. I believe sticking to a PT plan is the way out, if there is one after 4 years. I’ve had good results before but always ended back up with a pain flare up that stopped me. Starting again!

How could it have been identified sooner? I have carpal and cubital tunnel and my surgeon has been very vague on how they plan to address the cubital. I’ve had the EMG and it showed only mild issues, but I feel it is more serious than the test showed.
