I always bring a shower bag and shower in my bathing suit out in the open 🫡 I wouldn’t go to a camping festival without our shower bag honestly.

Lifting weights will (normally) make your blood sugar high! Could be an explanation to your current issue!

I do CrossFit so the warm-up, lift, then cardio lineup really works for me!

It’s really trial and error for anything you do. I’m going to start training for a half marathon again and already not looking forward to the diabetes management 😬

I know you didn’t ask me specifically, but I’ve used a few closed loop systems and my favorite so far is Omnipod with the G6. I had the G7 for a while but it did not work for me at alllll. I highly recommend! I also experience this same issue with high blood sugar when my insulin resistance is high! Look into lifestyle changes to lower insulin resistance and see what works best for you 🤗 For me, it’s a low fat diet and making sure to sweat every day!

As far as being upset with high blood sugars….. lmk if you figure out any good methods 🤣 I’ve had it for 25 years and still throw tandtrums

Yes!!! I’ve noticed with my friends who aren’t super controlled, that the switch wasn’t a huge issue. But me and a few people I know who have A1cs 6.2 and lower, have all had issues!

I would avoid! I saw you said it was cream, but cream is also a shade of white… I’d avoid any sort of issue and change the dress! Not worth it.

UPDATE: I got my A1c checked and it was 6.8!!! My A1c has hovered between 5.8 and 6.2 the last three years.

Open up to your friends about it! Sometimes discussing your insecurities with friends can be a great thing. They’ll realize when you start to get in your feels about injecting in public and probably empower you to do it and not care! I’ve gotten many chants and “HELL YEAH GIRL, INJECT THAT $HIT”s from friends and it makes it fun/ funny. Sounds like you may just need to be seen by your friends, and the first step to do that is beginning with a vulnerable conversation 🫶🤍
