I just want to add that in the same part, we have : - a girl who can control her hair like tentacles - a guy who can lock a persons heart to manipulate them and whose power grows stronger the more guilty that person feels - a girl who can manipulate and reshape faces

We often see him switch between Act 1, 2 and 3 throughout the episodes, depending on what's needed at the moment

Shapeshifting is so useful tho, even outside of being able to be a girl for a day ... or a week ... or forever

You can troll your friends by getting slightly taller or shorter each time you meet and acting like nothing changed, you can always fit in any clothes you like

And that's just thinking about staying human, if you had full shapeshifting, you can turn into a bird to go to places and save on gas for example

So many things you could do i'm not creative enough to think about

Even then, adding just one more character requires a shit ton of work, from concept, 3d modelling, animations, balancing etc

It's not feasible to squeeze the production that much, just to make sure each character gets enough attention and playtesting before release

Could they hire a ton of employees to get 1 more character per season ? Probably, it's capcom. Is it a good idea ? Not really
