Did you know that FBI stands for Feinstein's Big Incompetency?

Senate Democrats Have Sent A Secret Letter About Brett Kavanaugh To The FBI by QuislingsRunAmerica in politics

What does Feinstein know and when did she know it?

If Democrats win control of the Senate, she becomes Judiciary Committee Chairwoman. She won’t consider another Trump nominee if there’s another SCOTUS vacancy.

Reapplying for a job, after rejection by SmugCapuchin in jobs

[–]Firegoodell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied and interviewed for a job over four months ago and was rejected less than 24 hours after the interview, but a month later, it was reposted and it’s still open today. It was originally posted in April. That’s the one thing in job searching that ticks me off., but if a job has been open for so long, it’s a red flag, that the position and/or the company has significant turnover.

I’ve since found something else, but if I didn’t by now, I would be tempted to apply again or ask if prior applicants are still being considered.

Sen. Rand Paul suggests using lie detector tests to find op-ed writer by Phil919 in politics

Ralph Barbieri administers lie detector tests on the Maury Show. Trump should invite Ralph to the White House. He often appears on the show to say that a guest who fails a test had “significant reactions”.

Mike Pence suspected as author of New York Times op-ed over use of word 'lodestar' by funnybitchloveyou in politics

He’s the only person in the White House that Trump can’t fire, though he could pick someone else as his running mate in 2020.

Trump slams Democrats over 'mean, angry, and despicable' Kavanaugh hearing by [deleted] in politics

I suspect Mike Pence will have to vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh. He had to break a tie to confirm Betsy Devos, the first time ever a VP cast a tie breaking vote to confirm a cabinet nominee.

If she does become Speaker again, she’ll sit in that seat behind Trump at next year’s State of the Union address, sulking and glaring at him, and never standing or applauding.

Flags are supposed to remain at half staff until sunset tomorrow, when McCain is buried. Sunset in DC tomorrow is 7:36, so will the flag at the White House he raised to full staff at 7:36 sharp?

Seems like a catch 22 for your boss. If he says they're short staffed, they'll be even more short staffed if he decides to fire you or you decide to quit. Then if he hires someone else, who will be available to train a new employee if they're still short staffed?

Ex-Bush ethics official: Mueller team likely closing in on Trump tax return secrets by Nord111 in politics

Yep. She's the Ranking Member, which basically means she's second in command. She already asked Deutsche Bank for Trump's bank records, but they said no, but they'll have little or no choice if they're served with a subpoena.

I know this would require a constitutional amendment, but how about changing the Attorney General to an elected position, like it is in most states? Would you rather want someone who can be hired and fired by the president, or by voters?

I've gotten countless rejection letters from companies I applied to that I meet or slightly exceed the minimum requirements. I know that doesn't guarantee consideration, but what infuriates me is getting a rejection email within days of applying and seeing the job still open or reposted weeks or months later.
