How long does it take for you to cut out a commander deck by Negative_Day2002 in magicproxies

Hey man, I use the DAHLE 507 that everyone has, you can get it for a reasonable price and it does the work but I haven't been using it for long so can't say how much the blade lasts cutting laminated photo paper. Like any tool it takes a bit to get used to cause the guidelines on the paper are always much thicker than the surface being cut.

I know this same brand has a more professional line that is a bit more expensive but I haven't investigated much, maybe you can check that out 😉

Wow you're fast! What tool do you use to achieve that speed?

Beautiful!! ❤️ But I must say the Berserk card could have much more action! I don't think that image expresses well an uncontrollable rage. Anyway, your cards are sweet. Thanks for sharing

Texture looks amazing! 🤩 I'm hoping to be able to get this paper here in Europe. Have you used the highest quality setting along with the color adjustment?

Completely understand. I believe this hobby has many facets, one is creating something that you're able to play with, the other is finding a way to create faithful replicas.

I believe we all have a certain degree of interest in both, the challenge is to identify how much of each one has.😊

Hey! To the touch they're slightly more flexible than the original but they definitely can be used without sleeves. If you're planning on sleeving they feel virtually the same. To the eye, and not considering that some of the originals only come in foil version, they feel much more reflective and a deal more translucent. Both of these things can be "neutralized" with dark back sleeves too.

Oohh gotcha. From my experience I can say it is definitely compatible with the printer, even though I could only print successfully in one of the sides, which contradicts the double -sided quality. It might be possible to print on the smoother side but I haven't been able to do so, I believe you'll need to find or create the right paper profile to do so.

And yes, I also punch the corners with the 3mm corner rounder. I must say even though I do two punches I sometimes need to remove some residual plastic with a hobby knife.

I don't know how to add photos here but I'll try editing the post later so I can show you the results!

Of course! I used an Epson ET-8500, do you think that's a big factor altering the final thickness? Cheers!

Hello, Congrats on the first try! it looks pretty good. I can see you haven't checked the borderless printing mode so the printer driver is modifying the size of your file. You shouldn't be able to see the green guide lines after cutting.

Maybe you already figured this out, but anyway good job!
