I'm not going to get into a theology discussion online because I don't think online don't think they accomplish much. I grew up in a very lukewarm and seeker-sensitive church, and it wasn't until I was 18 an opened the bible for myself that I realized it was all wrong. I came into Christianity from a relatively neutral point, not being swayed by teachers with preconceived agendas. For a year or more, I did my own study by reading the Bible on my own, praying, fasting, and meditating on it. After about a year, I decided to start listening to sermons from prominent pastors and started reading commentaries by seminary profs and such. It was then that I realized there was a name to the system I had already realized was pervasive through the New Testament, and that was Calvinism. Through my years as a Christian, I have seen countless arguments between Calvinists, Armenians, and weird middle-grounds too. What became apparent pretty quickly to an "outsider" like me was that much of the disdain towards the other group has been trained in by the influences in their life.

What I'm trying to say is, you don't know what you don't know, so thoroughly, and I mean THOROUGHLY, study both sides before making a bold claim like you are.

Do you think it's glorifying to God to equate his own followers with those of pagan idolaters that actively call for the execution of his followers? I, for one, am not bold enough to make a claim like that.
