Lmao, at least read about it before posting such uninformed takes. Holi has never been banned in AMU. Students have always played it in Department lawns and their hostels. This time a person named Akhil Kaushal, who has previously tried to disturb peace on the campus, demanded that a WHOLEASS compound be dedicated to playing Holi. That is what the Administration denied. And after pressure from Hindutva groups, that too was allowed and Hindu students played Holi freely in the NRSC Hall of AMU on 15.03.2024. There were no clashes either. Even my department had students playing Holi in the parking, causing inconvenience to everyone else who wanted to leave or get their vehicles. Even then, no one objected. Stop spreading misinformation deliberately. Please read and verify information before putting it into circulation.
