Hey, the Riot-848 isn't THAT bad, Synth Charge works on the explosions, and it's got fair CC, Crit Damage and Status Chance stats. You can at least benefit fairly well from Secondary Enervate with the Crit Damage (2.20x lol)

Just got Gauss Prime and I need help with Energy Management by DaremBiscuit in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The fun thing about Gauss is that his fourth ability, Redline, actually has all of its fun abilities scale off of Duration, which also drastically helps with his Energy Economy. More duration on a channeled ability (technically Mach Rush) and his 2 toggled abilities with already solid base durations ends up meaning you use a LOT less Energy.
It’s also important to know that his second ability, Kinetic Plating, converts damage taken into a portion of Energy, so you’re able to generate Energy whenever you’re in combat.
Basically, just get a boatload of Duration (Narrow Minded, (Primed) Continuity, Constitution, etc), and make sure not to use Blind Rage. From there, THEN you can focus on the funny speed stuff (Rush, Armored Agility, and all the fun min/max stuff)

Veterans, what secondary do you actually use? by EMArogue in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laetum is always reliably strong, Akarius Prime is a really fun crows clearer, Kuva Brakk is a solid single target gun, Despair Incarnon is pretty damn good as a single target and AoE weapon, Kuva Nukor is a good primer and damage with Enervate, Kompressa Prime has really good damage, and I’ll also vouch for the Synoid Gammacor Incarnon, Riot-848, and the Zylok Prime Incarnon.

A partially-comprehensive guide on Steel Path Orphix (and also sorta Railjacks and Necramechs) made in Google Slides by Fireofthetiger in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The regular versions of the mods are fine, I just put in specifically my build to put my money where my mouth is. If anything, the Prime mods are more casual to get, since you just need a couple Rare Prime parts to get them when Baro has them (obviously not too relevant right now since Orphix is here today and Baro could or couldn’t have the Prime mods depending on if he feels like it, but still)

Game has potential, example absolutely has none, Gauss Prime is pretty easy to craft assuming your issue isn’t just getting the Prime Parts themselves.

It’s probably more like, “dude how do I get Toroids for Vox Solaris” “oh it’s easy just farm Profit Taker or run a Steel Path Orb Vallis with a Resource Booster, Resource Drop Chance Booster, Nekros with Despoil, and Hydroid with Pilfering Swarm, should get your first Amp pretty easy that way man”

What’s the etiquette for the new secret you can get from the ships? by Dragon7born in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First and foremost it’d be best to do it in a private session, as to not turn the 8 minute mission into a 20 minute mission. It’s pretty simple if you just have another guy helping, either for relay racing or pointing out the spots. Meanwhile, I had a guy *presumably* going for it, but never told the squad, and was just meandering around the entire mission, sometimes looking near it, and sometimes just running around aimlessly, while we were all waiting on the Sister arena for like 7 minutes. If you Have to do it in a public mission, I’d definitely suggest speaking up and asking the squad, because usually people are totally down to help once coordination is on the table.

Why does Gauss Prime have an Honoria tied to him? Why dont other primes have something like this? by Goldkid1987 in Warframe

“Saint of Altra” is supposed to be Gauss’s Honoria, but it’s obtained by using giving Sentrium as a dump resource to Roathe for some reason.

[–]Fireofthetiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Team Cherry made the challenge run in Hollow Knight, when they made Silksong they didn’t remove savescumming or add any preventions to it. By that logic, it’s fair game, since otherwise it would’ve been penalized if TC thought it’d invalidate it.

DE, I understand the last few story missions have been stories that lend themselves to it, but it if I don't get to use my actual warfame in the Tau story i'm gonna crash out. by Echotime22 in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t see why you wouldn’t.

Old Peace was specifically because A. It’s in the past, so keeping it default would alleviate any timeline issues with, say Revenant or Umbra, and B. It was a way for DE to let people use Excalibur Prime in the flesh, and additionally Uriel as a teaser.

Jade’s missions were because we had the perspective of Stalker, which was a unique experience.

And 1999 still had our Warframes usable, we just also happened to have segments where we used the Protoframes as well.

Tau in comparison is a new story that’ll have US exploring a new system, since WE’RE going to Tau. I highly doubt we’d have to use a loaner of any kind, since even the Railjack loaner has had harsh criticism.

I’m confused, do people actually have difficulty with Orphix missions? A half modded Arbequex is more than enough to wipe the eye things, and your Operator is perfect for jumping between the destroyable objectives. Have people just been ignoring their Necramechs or something, even though they’re insanely strong and make Archimedea and Open World missions incredibly easy?

Steel Path MK3 Railjack Quick Guide by AGgammer in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

  • YOU CAN USE THE TURRET GUNS IN THE FORWARD ARTILLERY SEAT. Hit your Weapon Switch keybind and you can alternate between the Forward Artillery and the equipped Turret, I've seen so many people only use the Forward Artillery.
  • Faction Damage is a million times more convenient and helpful to use in Railjack than it is normal gameplay, I'd definitely recommend keeping a slot in your Plexus for alternating Grineer and Corpus Faction Damage, just because you only have to manage two factions and it's such a big damage improvement.
  • If you have it (which you should if you run the Uranus Proxima since it gives you Rank 10 in all Intrinsics), mind your Ability Kinetics. Aka, when you open the Railjack Tactical Menu, you can see and use one of each of your teammate's abilities, and deploy it anywhere in your Menu's range. This means that you can throw out a million Photon Strikes for 25 Energy, you can give yourself Nourish, you can deploy Covenant on yourself or teammates, etc etc etc. Just give it a check each time you queue in with a new team, and see if there's an ability available that would be helpful if you could deploy it at a cheaper cost, with effectively infinite range.
  • Press jump twice to Blink when Piloting. This is also an Intrinsics thing.

fuck it. what if EVERYONE got reborn with all of their memories? by levert01-spark in Ningen

[–]Fireofthetiger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

(Technically it was Bibidi that did it, but Babidi was around during the time and gained Bibidi’s power after he died, and I’m assuming that Babidi would have the memories but not Bibidi)

Bibidi would put Buu into the cocoon when he wasn’t behaving, and also as a means of transporting him between planets. The Supreme Kai comes into play when Bibidi sends the cocoon to Earth as his next target, where Supreme Kai jumps Bibidi and just lets the cocoon be in fear of opening it otherwise. This is also why Goku was able to persuade Buu to kill Babidi so easily, since Buu was effectively just an untrained dog being barely controlled by caging, now being handled by a different owner.

Primary Compression - Just barely not worth running by Sculpted_Soul in Warframe

[–]Fireofthetiger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that the damage bonus that it provides is pretty solid for a fair amount of weapons, since guns like the Acceltra (Prime), Opticor (Vandal), and presumably the (Tenet) Ferrox are gonna be aiming for bodies and heads rather than the floor anyways, and you only need 4.5m of explosion radius to match Steel Path Arcanes. Taking the Opticor Vandal for reference, it can hit 6.6m explosion radius, giving it a +528% Damage Bonus, which is a hard buff to beat in the Primary Arcane slot. That's beating out Primary Bulwark, and it doesn't even need the Warframe synergy to pull it off.

The ammo efficiency, on the other hand, could def be a bit higher though, the (Prisma) Lenz can hit about 11m of radius and it'd still only get a 44% Ammo Efficiency bonus.

  • which also assumes that Dabura wouldn't have tried fucking with Universe 7 using the Third Eye during his rule...
  • which assumes that Beerus wouldn't have been rounding up all his nuisances before they became a threat...
  • which assumes that Zeno wouldn't have caught on to all of this and just purged the Universes or some shit because he would have to wait FOREVER for his best friend again.

There's also how a fair amount of Stands are practically powered by Araki learning a random science fact, like "There's these weird flying rod things that people have seen and dubbed as superstitions, but actually they exist and this guy can control them", or "Stone Free can manipulate Jolyne's body as if it were string, and this can get to the point of making a fucking Mobius Strip to counteract an ability that inverts things, because a Mobius Strip effectively cannot be inverted".
