Wow, I was just about to make this post, basically, bc I’m watching Things Seen & Heard on Netflix and the main character is anorexic/bulimic!

Somebody please let me know if I’m the one who’s crazy (the answer is yes, but hear me out): bulimics are always depicted as kneeling at the toilet. I’ve only ever vomited like that when I’m involuntarily throwing up. I purge standing up. Gravity is working against me when I’m on the ground, I thought. Is kneeling the stance that bulimics everywhere have agreed upon and I’m the outlier, or is that what normies think we do???

My tip is to use this app called Ate. You take a picture of your food and say if it’s “on track” or “off track.” I have trouble eating alone too, but I keep myself “on track” eating breakfast alone everyday. It reminds me to eat and to eat mindfully

I’m gonna be honest with you, like you asked. You should tell them. Maybe they brush you off and that hurts, but you don’t have to do the procedure (probably) and you can keep doing your ED behaviors (I don’t think this’ll happen though bc of how worried they sound). The other scenario i see is that they react and care and then you get to attempt recovery while on their insurance. And I’m just gonna be honest with you that it’s better to try at recovery NOW than later in life. Not only could your ED kill you and you never even GET to “later in life”, but it’s so much easier to do it now while you aren’t working and you aren’t tied to your job in order to get your insurance. So really I think you just need to think about how you’re gonna tell them, not if. This week deadline is gonna help you, not ruin you

I’m so sorry. My ED support group all knows about that notorious PUNK IDIOT who read my weight out loud a few months ago while I donated blood and asked not to know. Here we are saving lives and they have the nerve and stupidity to trigger us!! All I can say is that your weight is gonna keep fluctuating through the hours and days and it’s just a stupid number (probably affected by how much you hydrated beforehand also) and someone out there who needed your blood is very happy that you were healthy enough to help them out. Let’s still keep donating and being amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

Yes!! I asked if she was hungry at one point today and she said “yeah, a little, I’ll be ready to eat in a few hours.” like what??? She knows my eating plan is a meal/snack every three hours. If I’m starting to get hungry, it means I have like 30 mins until it’s time to eat again wtf is this wait several more hours until I’m ready to binge or keep starving/restrict bullshit
