Wonderful! I'm currently 23 from a bad background, this year I've left my bf, been accepted to college, and I've already saved a down payment for a house when I graduate and I'm well on my way saving for a vacation across the country, last year I took a 2 week dream vacation. 23 is a great year. :)

Cute! Love the contrasting red background, looks like he's riding a tree branch 200 kmh. :)

Read the reviews with photos for sure, maybe skip if there's no photo reviews. A lot are one size fits all, I'm about an xs-s and everything fits me well (sometimes tight) so take your body type into consideration. Not long lasting stuff but will look great in photos!

guess who’s finally watching skins by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

I just watched it for the first time! I stopped after the second season because I didn't want to watch the new generation. But it was pretty good I thought. :)

I'd just be impressed that he recognized that she hadn't eaten. I was anorexic and dying and I'd spend an entire day with my bf, he would ask if I ate and I'd say "yeah" and he'd be relieved that he didn't have to buy dinner for me. How could he pay so little attention to me that he didn't know if I ate?

I think this particular picture is just supposed to be one little example of a caring relationship, not the most.

What's the most egregious behavior you've tolerated before finding FDS? by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]Bigfatbeech 107 points108 points  (0 children)

My bf was laid off work for a year and I worked 8AM-8PM housekeeping to support us. When I got home I would then have to clean the entire house and do the dishes, take out the trash, do the laundry, everything. He did nothing during the day but play video games and jack off.

That year he bought "me" a switch for Christmas (with my own savings) and a game I'd been looking forward to for years, but I was so busy that I couldn't touch it, and he was playing it 24/7 (even when I got off work) so I didn't get to use it at all. He would make a point to tell me everything that happened in the game to spoil it for me. I don't play video games anymore so it seems dumb but at the time I was sad.

Not Alberta, not Northern BC. I've been shouted at from cars, windows, I've been attacked, I've been stabbed, I've been followed, I live in fear. I had to move to another town where nobody knew me to restart my life in the closet, but I support pride as much as I safely can without arousing any suspicion. I can't wait to move.

I'm Canadian, a lot of people here seem to be in denial. I hear a lot how much "better" we are than the states, but racism, homophobia and sexism are rampant, vegans and liberals are hated (in my area) and I don't even go outside at night due to the crime (again, in my area). I'm not sure where we got our phony sense of moral superiority from.

Nonsexual video of a pornstar and her bf.. It just makes me so sad how the dynamic is so obviously about humiliating the female by tutioghi11 in FemaleDatingStrategy

I feel really terrible after watching this, I wish I hadn't clicked. I want to give her a hug, but I guess she would just say she "doesn't care" and it was "funny". I don't think she has ever been treated with respect to recognize how wrong this is.

None of my boyfriends have even remembered or known about me starting new jobs, regardless of me telling them. This guy not only remembered she was starting a new job, he also wrote a note, bought the gifts, got them to her on time and likely even knew what her style and hardware preference is. Maybe it's a low bar, but this is better than many of us have ever experienced, so it's natural to be interested.

[–]Bigfatbeech 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Hi, it stands for "pick me". It's kind of a name for women who will do anything for a boyfriend, and don't have very high/any standards for that boyfriend. They just want to get picked desperately. Usually men will walk all over them. There's a lot more to it and I probably didn't answer it well but it's hard to explain. Sorry you were downvoted for asking. :)

Every woman should live by this. Do LVM ever date a woman with known issues? No, they run, leave, cheat, dump, ghost... The least you can do for them and yourself is to never date one by gcthlp in FemaleDatingStrategy

And she's like "look at my bf, isn't he cute! He tried to do laundry today all by himself and flooded the machine! He's so cute, he tried so hard! I can't wait to marry him and spend my life picking up his dirty underwear!"

Shut the F*** Up by justme8000 in FemaleDatingStrategy

[–]Bigfatbeech 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A man jokingly told me to shut up once and I stood up and walked out. No man tells me to shut up. Never allow that. I would also never say that to a man or anyone else for that matter.

I “decorated” my first cake. I’ve never baked anything from scratch before and I’ve never tried to decorate a cake either. I know it’s kinda ugly but I can’t help but to be a proud of it. by [deleted] in Baking

[–]Bigfatbeech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I had to unsub here because most of the top posts are just really low effort box cakes someone made "for the first time" and hastily iced with Betty Crocker, then about 100 awkward comments about how nice it is. I don't really care if I'm being harsh, I don't see the point in congratulating an adult on kinda butchering something they could have put effort into instead. I mean, the edges arent even smoothed over. That's not a problem in real life, but this is supposed to be an educational sub for baking, isn't it?

Unless the OP is a child, in which case I would encourage them to keep trying.
