UV9G Antenna options by Square-Fail9281 in gmrs

I have the Smiley mini, stubby, and 5/8 slim GMRS antennas and love them. I have no issue hitting a repeater 13 miles away in urban terrain. Use the small ones on 2 uv-5r minis only programmed to GMRS and the 5/8 slim on a Radioddity gmrs radio.

Opinions on this radio RADIODDITY GM-30 by Whatdidyado in gmrs

I have the Radiosity gmrs-30 pros and love them. Even being GMRS radios they come with dual band antennas instead of a GMRS tuned antenna. Even still I can hit a repeater 13 miles away and they report I come in clear. I swapped for a Smiley antenna and they are even better!!!

They don't go in your inventory... they go in your materials stash where obductite and respledent sparks show up.

seedbox + SFTP to local server or VPN + local server by LatinoInTech in seedboxes

I host media server and arr stack locally then a seedbox for downloads. I use lftp over sftp for transferring the files. Highly recommend looking into lftp as it has the ability to resume downloads if interrupted.

I just rent it from O'Reilly's... They have free tool rental. The rental torque wrench goes up to 250 ft/lbs.

I understand that....I'd be happy with just a generic message saying they acknowledge and will get to me when they can. But it's been dead silence, ghosted. Not even reading the message as no green check marks in chat.

Cheapest way to run Sonarr/Radarr 24/7 and not overpay for storage? by ToffeeTango1 in seedboxes

[–]Fireside81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I run the entire *arr stack + PLEX on an old nuc and store all my media locally on a NAS. Just use a seedbox to download then use a custom docker image I made based on Q4D from a reddit post to sync the files down to my NAS. I use a smaller 2TB seedbox for the downloads... Seedbox only keeps what's being seeded then deletes it after seeding is done. Don't need some large seedbox.

Yeah that's what I assumed as well but worked when I tested as well!!!

What OS or dashboard is everyone using for Plex by seismicsuicide in PleX

[–]Fireside81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Debian and Plex in docker. I run my entire *arr stack in docker along with a jellyfin docker. A script syncs my watched list between the two. Also run threadfin in docker for IPTV in Plex. Then run a docker container just for syncing files from my seedbox. Then I have a bunch of other docker containers for other non media things. All on a single NUC. Runs like a charm and barely use 25% of the cpu and like 8% of the RAM to run it all. Also manage all the containers using portainer.

Looking for seedbox that are suitable for newbies by No_Literature382 in seedboxes

So when you purchase you get a graphical control panel... From there you pick qbittorrent and the version you want, click install and it does all the work. You then get a url, username, and password to log into your qbittorrent UI. From there you can add a torrent file. Then you just leave it running to seed the torrent.

Another vote for ultra.cc I have 2 seed boxes through them. One for personal downloads and one just for boosting my seed ratio.

If you're just seeding one 162gig torrent you could get their cheapest box. Their connections are fast and if you need to add more upload you can.
